The Studio (Ground Floor)

Chic ground floor studio apartment, opening out onto the communal garden.

Inside there is a large kitchen diner with double doors that open onto the spacious open-plan living area which combines a comfortable seating area with large sofa, Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player together with a separate area with a king-sized double bed. There is a shower room off this living area.

There is one single sofa bed available to accommodate a further guest.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, ceramic electric hob, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and ample crockery and cutlery.

The apartment benefits from central heating and Wi-Fi. Linen, towels, an iron and ironing board are also all provided.

Children are welcome, but some furnishings may not be ideal for toddlers.

The apartment is in an area that can be lively late into the night being close to bars and night clubs.

Imperial Court Apartments

Apartments 4 & 5 both offer 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the second floor and The Studio is a spacious ground floor apartment ideal for two. Each is furnished in a contemporary and comfortable style with smart kitchen facilities and bathrooms.

Imperial Court is situated in a side street just off the main Promenade, and each apartment comes with one allocated parking space in a gated, secure, private car park.

It is within easy walking distance of the High Street, the café area of Montpellier, Imperial Square - host to the town’s many festivals - the Town Hall, the Everyman Theatre and numerous shops, restaurants and bars.

Also within easy reach are the railway station and Cheltenham Racecourse – home of The Gold Cup.

As the Western Gateway to The Cotswolds, the property is also a well-positioned base for touring the surrounding countryside, towns and attractions.

There is a well maintained garden for residents’ use and entry to the building is via entry phone or key code. There are stairs and a lift to the second floor (for apartments 4 and 5).

Children are welcome, although some of the furnishings may not be ideal for toddlers and it may not be suitable because of the apartments' central location; they are in an area that can be lively late into the night, being close to bars and night clubs. There is a nightclub behind apartment 4 which can be noisy well into the small hours, especially at the weekends. Please enquire if you are uncertain about suitability.

Please note, the minimum stay period is five nights over the Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival week in March and four nights over the Christmas/New Year period.

During the eighteenth century Cheltenham became one of the most fashionable health resorts in the country after King George III visited the town to treat his infirmities; establishing Cheltenham as a spa town. Regency town houses line the historic Promenade, squares and terraces and visitors are still able to sample the spa waters at the Pittville Pump Room; a short distance from the town centre.

Imperial Court is right on the doorstep of the town centre, being a short stroll from the principal street of Cheltenham - The Promenade - with its fine regency terraces, stylish shops, Neptune Fountain and the annual Christmas Market. The town offers good shopping, great restaurants, cultural activities, fantastic nightlife and three theatres: the Everyman, the Playhouse and the Bacon.

Similarly nearby are the Imperial Gardens, the Town Hall and Montpellier Gardens. These locations form the central hub for the annual Cheltenham Festivals of Jazz, Science, Music, Food & Drink and Literature.

Although we ask that you clear away any cigarette stubs please. Children are welcome at all the apartments, although some of the furnishings may not be ideal for toddlers and being in the centre of town, the area is quite lively in the evenings. Please enquire if you are uncertain about suitability. Outside: The apartments are part of a modern apartment block, with one allocated parking space each in a gated, secure private car park on the ground floor. Also adjacent there is a well maintained garden for residents’ use. Entry to the block is via key code (all apartments) and entry phone (apartments 4 and 5).

Great location

We really loved the location of this apartment, easy to get in and out of the city by car or foot. The parking is very unusual and only possible if you have a small car (which thank goodness we did).

Overall the apartment was fine but the bathroom was grubby.

Also this was the first accommodation that's had a clothes washer & no powder. We bought our own and left it for the next people.

This apartment was advertised to me as catering for 4 persons. It only catered for 3. Upon arriving I realised there were only enough beds and bedding for three people. I attempted to contact the property manager to inform them in the hope that this would be sorted. The response was, "Do I need to add a fourth bed?". The situation was not resolved and one of my group had to sleep on the couch fully clothed. Appalling service. I would not recommend booking through this property management company.

Owner's Response: I am disappointed to see this review as I had previously advised the guest that the bed for the fourth person would be in a different apartment as they had booked six apartments at the same time to accommodate a very large hen party. It seems that my message to them had not got through when I assumed it had, hence my surprise when receiving the request for an additional bed as I thought there was now an extra guest. Sufficient beds had been provided for the party, it just seems that we had some confusion over where they were. I am sorry that the guest feels they had a bad experience as a result.
