House in North Ballachulish, Nr. Glencoe, Scotland - Convenient Location For Walking, Cycling And Driving Day Trips In The West Highlands

Leven House is a four-bedroom detached house with great mountain and loch views. It has a secluded back garden with a beautiful slate-lined, mountain stream running through it. At the front on the ground floor is a large, comfy living room with wood-burning stove and separate open plan sun lounge, hall and dining room with door to South-facing deck. At the rear is a large, modern kitchen and utility, bathroom with shower and twin bedroom. Up the stairs are two double bedrooms, a triple bedroom, bathroom and shower room. We had a brilliant New Year Eve celebrating our son's 18th birthday, one definitely to remember in such a fabulous, spacious house. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Great for hill-walkers

  • 5 of 5

Leven House is a great location for hill-walkers and others who like to get into the outdoors. It is situated at a key point for easy access to many beautiful glens and ranges of hills, and of course the sea shores. The view of the Ballachulish Horseshoe round of mountains from the living room is inspirational. The facilities are roomy and comfortable, and there are local shops etc. nearby.

We had a great time at Leven house. The accommodation is very spacious and well appointed. There are enough activities at the property to keep everyone amused should a trip out not be possible. We really enjoyed breakfasting on the decking in 25degree sunshine. Was this really Scotland or had we taken a wrong turn and ended up in the Med.

Damming the stream in the back garden to make a pool for the children to paddle in was great fun. Such a pretty place with great views and close to Glencoe. We are not the type of people to go back to the same place twice but Leven House might well prove to be an exception.

Leven house- perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here ranging from 20 to 60 and everyone loved it. It's the perfect house for sitting altogether in the living room and sitting altogether at meal times if larger groups. Great location and amazing views. I personally loved the powerful showers- nothing better than a powerful showers after a long hike. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back

Fantastic views & great location at Leven House

  • 5 of 5

Very relaxing holiday with my wife, 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

The house and gardens are great and well equipped for all ages, we spent most of our stay in the sun lounge as the views are fantastic. We loved the games variation especially the table tennis (it brought back memories), the house is very clean and there was plenty of information left for us.

As a growing family we've had holidays in this area for over 24 years after getting married in Fort William ( over 24 years ago), we can certainly recommend this house as one of the best accommodations we've stayed in. Thank you

The house is big enough to share with another family or with one or both sets of grandparents. The back garden and the stream give the children a good place to play when we are just relaxing at the house.
