Spacious but cosy, walking distance to shops and restaurants

  • 5 of 5

We arrived during Storm Brian and immediately felt so much at home that we hoped the weather would not get better too quickly so that we would have an excuse not to leave the cottage! Found everything clean and comfortable with good quality appliances and plenty of space for the children and our dog inside and out in the amazing garden, which is the size of a park rather than a cottage garden! Children's framed drawings on the walls and other mementos show that this is a well-loved home from home - and we left with happy memories, too!

Relaxed and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is perfect for a holiday stay. We waked the coastal path, visited old haunts, met old friends. Got wet and dry again. Hail stones and sunshine. A lovely restful stay and lots to do and eat in St Agnes. What a lovely place altogether.

Comfortable, clean, well-equipped cottage with a lovely Cornish, traditional feel. Amazing gardens that seem to go on for ever. Well located for an easy walk into St Agnes and with good access to the surrounding area.

Cosy and comfortable in an ideal location in the village.

  • 4 of 5

A lovely cottage with everything you could need. The beds were really comfy and the children loved playing and exploring in the huge garden. Walk in one direction and you are in minutes of the pubs and shops in the centre of the village. Walk the other way and you find yourself in a delightful picturesque lane- perfect for an amble or to walk the dog. The beach at Trevaunance Cove was within walking distance for us too. A great cottage in a lovely Cornish village!

Beautiful cottage in idyllic setting

  • 5 of 5

This homely cottage was very tidy and clean on arrival, with brilliant amenities (lovely big garden where we enjoyed eating alfresco, lots of cooking utensils, great DVD stash, etc). A short walk to the village centre and the beach, it was the perfect place to spend a long weekend.

About Elizabeth Adams

We bought the property in 2001. At the time our 4 children ranged from age 2 - 6, so it was a way of getting out of the city at weekends and holidays and spending time by the sea.

Elizabeth Adams purchased this cottage in 2001

Why Elizabeth Adams chose Saint Agnes

We love Cornwall for its rugged scenery, fantastic beaches and great walks. The cottage has a long history; it was used by tin miners back in the 19th century.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage is in a great location in St Agnes so close to shops, pubs and restaurants, while being very close to some great beaches - Trevaunance, Chapel Port and Porthtowan. It is easy to get to many different places in Cornwall, from Falmouth, to Penzance, Helston and Padstow so there is always plenty to do and see.

Guestbook comments from the owner

'We see this as our home from home'.

'We loved the amount of space we had'

'It was lovely to have room to cook while chatting with family in the large kitchen'.
