Gran Alacant is a village with most things you could want. Importantly, there are hours of glorious sunshine & miles of wonderful sand & sea. The house has unlimited high speed Wi-Fi and faces south-east so gets the full benefit of each day’s sunshine. It is close to all local amenities. Air Conditioning (cold/hot). House recently redecorated. A bright and sunny private home, elevated above its neighbouring houses. There’s nothing directly opposite but a landscaped garden with a secure wire fence followed by a beautiful, green, wide, natural ravine. It’s on a very quiet road serving only its row of ten homes. The English/Spanish speaking owner lives locally & is readily available to help if needed. Complimentary lifts from/to Alicante Airport are offered to renters where possible. A car isn’t necessary for local area. Car parking is available outside the house. Bus & ‘train’ services provide a local GA route including all focal points. Good Bus service to Alicante and nearby Santa Pola.

Our recent holiday in Gran Alacant was very enjoyable. The house is very clean and has all the qualities for an enjoyable holiday, especially sitting on the patio enjoying a cool drink after a long day.

The beautiful beaches are nearby as are the local amenities such as super markets. Local bars and restaurants are all within walking distance which was good for us and offer a good choice of food.

Solarium: large private roof terrace, 360º stunning panoramic views. Ideal for sunbathing, etc. Shower, table & chairs, umbrella, cupboard, sun loungers, etc. POOL: the community swimming pool, children's pool & gardens are about 2-minutes’ walk from the house, close enough for easy access yet far enough away for undisturbed peace & quiet. The area is accessed by electronic key to prevent unauthorised entry. The grass area is planted out with trees. Showers, WC & parasols are available. Utility Room: GALERIA: Enclosed drying area off kitchen, washing machine, clothes lines, hot water heater, cupboard. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house is immaculately prepared personally by the owner in preparation for visitors’ arrivals. Hand and bath towels are provided for each visitor as are bed clothes. Beach towels are not provided. Everything you could want!

Great stay at Alfredo's house, the house was very well equipped with everything we could have wanted. It was clean and tidy and was great to be met by Ian who gave us a tour of the area.

Good supermarket is 5 minute stroll away and the pool is literally just around the corner, the pool has a lifeguard on duty and sunloungers to hire each day for just 1,50euro, although Alfredo has chairs that can be used around the pool too!

Air con in bedrooms and lounge was great but fans were also fab if you aren't a lover of air con!

We were a party of 5 and one of us slept on the sofa bed which was fine for our needs, we worried that the house wouldn't be big enough for us but it was perfect!

Alfredo and Ian very kindly have us a lift back to the airport on our return (taxi was a bit of a pain when we arrived as they struggled to find the house but we got there in the end!)

Lots of places to eat within walking distance, and had lots of lovely meals..... can recommend the Banoffee Cake at Hemingways!

All in all, great value ... couldn't ask for more for your money 💰?!

Wonderful

An excellent location with a supermarket, bars, restaurants and bus stop all within 5 minutes walk. The home itself was spotless and had everything you needed. The roof terrace had wonderful views. The communal pool immaculate. Alfredo was an excellent host. Thank you so much for our lifts to and from the airport. Definitely recommend.

Excellent

My wife and I have rented abroad many times over 50 years.

Alfredo's property is the best for what you get.

1 A very caring owners who house meets all that it advertises and

more.The TVs went down some came to fix the problem within 1 hour.

Because all usuall things you normally buy for ex Tea bags,squezzy liguid loo rolls etc etc are not removed when you leave ,you just top up what you use.

2 The PU and drop off at airport was on time at no cost.

3 It is probably due to its location the quietest Rd in Gran Alacant.

All I can say is you will not be disappointed it does exactly what it advertises

Really lovely house, well situated and equipped.

We had a lovely holiday here. Ian and Alfredo could not have been more helpful. The house has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The lifts provided to and from airport and station were a real bonus and Ian's guided tour and supermarket visit when we arrived were fantastic.

A wonderful break in a fantastic house

Once again we are delighted to have stayed at Casa Alfredo. A fantastic well equipped and comfortable home with everything you could possibly need . Thank you Alfredo and Ian for airport lifts and going that extra mile with popping in milk bread and water as we arrived late. I cannot recommend this home away from home holiday property with the added bonus of a roof terrace with amazing views of mountains sea and Alicante..thanks once again we will return.

most helpful owner ever !

Alfredo's commitment to his guests was second to none. Airport transfers were very much appreciated, as was the mini tour of Gran Alacant prior to arriving at the house. The house was spotless and very well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches, including heaters and extra blankets for those, like us, staying over winter. UK TV connection and internet were both reliable. The house is only 5 mins from the bus stop, the supermarket, bank etc: the Thursday market is 30 mins walk away or less than 5 mins in a car.

The beach is at the bottom of a long steep hill and although it's walkable, it's not for the fainthearted ! We sometimes opted for the bus instead !

As we did not have a car, we relied on the bus service, which was well run and kept to the timetable, though the frequency of buses is much higher in the summer season than the winter. However it was easy to get to Alicante ( a lovely city by the sea !) and the resort of Santa Pola was only 10 mins away: from here other buses go along the coast.

Thank you Alfredo for being so kind and helpful - and for the fact that your English is so much better than our Spanish ! We really enjoyed our stay.
