Overview

Property

Updated: 25-Jul-2016
Villa in Maraussan, Nr. Beziers, Herault, Languedoc-Roussillon, France - Peaceful Village Location

For August 2017 I am happy to accept non Saturday arrival and departure dates The Summers here can be very hot - reaching up to 40°C on some days but you will find this villa maintains a wonderfully comfortable temperature both day and night due to the typical fabulous Languedocain design and build and window shutters helping to keep all the rooms at a comfortable and even temperature. At over 140sq.m this spacious villa is a great family home for everyone to chill out and enjoy their own space if need be. It is suitable for both families and couples to enjoy a very comfortable holiday in this fabulous region.Welcome basket on arrival with starter basics to include - tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, milk, orange juice, bottle of wine as well as pasta, pasta sauce and large family crisps, fresh baguette. Also a few wash tablets, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls and kitchen roll, washing up liquid - certainly enough to see you through your first night if you don't have time to shop en route. Various pool inflatables available for use during your stay as well as a few beach ping pong bats and balls etc.

Maraussan is one of the few villages in this area not to be affected by mosquitoes making it very comfortable. One of the few villages that isn't affected by mosquitoes. Please see various testimonials from previous guests.

Wonderful villa and pool!

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully restored villa, with every facility you could wish for, in a lovely village. Pool is superb in a lovely, secluded garden.

Liz and Steve are the perfect hosts and made our stay even better. Wish we could have stayed longer and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic holiday villa

  • 5 of 5

Excellent customer service nothing was too much trouble, the owner made us all feel really welcome. The villa was superbly clean on arrival and obviously well maintained to a high standard. The photos did not do the villa justice. Everything we could possibly have needed for a holiday property was well catered for. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and garden and made good use of the BBQ in the Being only 20 minutes from the fabulous Mediterranean beaches at Valras we couldn't have wished for a better location. Hope your 2015 season is equally as successful. Best wishes and thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful villa. Dan, Sue and family

Good health to you both,' regards Bev, Steve, Esmae, Louie, Ernie and Mary. Hope you are are both well. We made good time back to Calais. 10 hours from leaving the Villa. It was nice meeting you and we had a great time in your lovely villa. I will certainly recommend it to any of our friends or family wanting to holiday in the area. We really enjoyed ourselves as there is plenty to do whether you want activities a beach site seeing to relax around your lovely pool or a mixture of it all. We would like to thank you for a lovely holiday. The house was welcoming, spacious and comfortable and the kids had a fantastic time in the pool. The location of the house could not have been better; it was a great base for exploring the area. We visited Valras plage, swam in the river at Roquebrun.

We had a wonderful stay - thank you,. The house was perfect for us and the location was good in terms of exploring the beaches and inland. It was a lovely villa that met our expectations (which are high), in terms of facilities and cleanliness. The information provided was just right. There was a very informative folder of information, which helped us decide where to visit. The villa was very clean and there was everything there that we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Thanks for another lovely 2 weeks at your fabulous home in Maraussan. We have had a really relaxing time and visited a couple of new places this year. The weather has been superb and in this heat the pool was a great place to coll off! Once again we enjoyed Serignan Beach and the locks at Foncerune on the middle Sunday. Great that we can come back again in 213 for a 5th visit! Alison, Nick, Claire and David
