A semi-detached house, three bedrooms, two large, one small. Good-sized lounge and separate kitchen/dining area.

A pull-in for one car at the front, a paved garden to the rear.

The house is located 100 yards from the High Street, where can be found 2 public houses (The Nag's Head and The Plough). The Plough also serves meals.

Also, a newsagent, a beauty salon, a cafe (The Yew Tree), and a hairdresser's.

Not suitable for pets.

Spacious comfortable and clean house in quiet village. We had our dog with us and left her in the back garden one day while we were out. I had spoke to the owner on the phone about leaving the dog at the premises. I complied with his wishes not to leave the dog in the house when we were not there. However the back yard was not properly secured and she escaped. A very kind couple found her and brought her to a shelter. She was almost knocked down on the road outside the house. We were unable to collect her until the next morning. We were shocked when we had to pay £52 before they released her. I was very angry as I felt that the house was advertised as pet friendly but the facility to keep her secure was not suitable. So if you plan on taking your dog with you this premises is not suitable. Also the back garden has no grass, it is all concreted in and needs to be cleaned. The garden furniture was dirty and the whole back yard, not what I'd call a garden was too dirty to sit in.

The location was lovely and so peaceful, the layout of the cottage was perfect and the facilities were great and would have been great for if it was raining as well as there was plenty of space.

The cottage was lovely and clean and very comfortable, the back garden was lovely and private.

I would defiantly recommend this cottage to friends and family and I intend to go myself next year.

We enjoyed the local pubs, we enjoyed walking round the village it was very peaceful and we drove into Scarborough and Whitby.

  • Outside: To the front of the house, there is a space for parking one car. To the back, a large paved area, with garden table and chairs. Garden shed, washing line. This area can be made enclosed, by putting a fence panel across the gap. Utility Room: washing-machine Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Beds are made up. A towel provided in the bathroom, but guests are asked to bring towels for personal use. The house is cleaned between lets. Extra linen can be provided on request for 2-week lets. Other: Back room, with dining-table and chairs, kitchen area, back-door to paved rear garden.
