Comfortable family stay

  • 3 of 5

The location and views were fantastic and very impressive as we came to the driveway. Only a short drive from Cardigan and a great location for exploring places like Poppit Sands, Newquay, local nature reserve, nice local pubs and larger attractions such as National Trust locations (Penbryn highly recommended) and Folly Farm.

The house was large and comfortable and plenty of space to spread out-two families with children aged 1, 2 and 4. The children loved exploring the house and it was reassuring to have things to hand like a cot, stair gate at the top of the stairs (we bought our own portable mesh one for the bottom) and high chair. Great number of bathrooms and having areas like the utility and garage were so useful for a family holiday and much appreciated.

The house is quaint, if a little dated, but we weren't looking for high-end luxuries, just a comfortable and clean place to stay. Although the garden is 'enclosed', as the pictures show the fence is open and there is a cattle grid onto the driveway, with a ditch adjacent to the field, so our toddlers required lots of supervision when out in the garden. Not that we spent much time in the property- so much so that it took the owner four attempts to walk round and greet us!! Delyth was friendly and helpful and it is obviously a much-loved family property.

Large and comfortable house

  • 5 of 5

An ideal house for a holiday for a large family or group of friends. There was plenty of space and the house was clean and well equipped. The sunsets were stunning!

The house is well placed for touring with Mwnt and Pembryn beaches within a short drive and St David's and Tenby about an hour away by car.

It is a spacious country house with glorious views

  • 5 of 5

A lovely, clean, comfortable house in a secluded, quiet location with views over the valley and about 15 minutes drive into Cardigan with its supermarkets and restaurants and takeaways. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 3 young children. A great spot for exploring outdoor pursuits at local beaches, clifftop or riverside walks, dolphin spotting at New Quay and the wildlife centre and castle just down the road. The owner was most kind and helpful. I would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives for an outdoor, active-style holiday or simply relaxing at the property.

Beautiful house away from it all

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely house this is, with a magnificent view. The house was beautifully clean and so comfortable, we instantly felt at home. Everything needed for a lovely holiday was here, peace and quiet, and the house was so well equipped we wanted for nothing. Even the weather was kind to us. Three generations thoroughly enjoyed it and we would love to return next year. Many thanks Delyth.

Fantasic Wales

  • 5 of 5

We had our first, only 4 nights lasting stay in wales and it was fanatstic. Of course Blaenbetws manor is to big for just the three of us people. We enjoyed it verry well to stay in this lovely and authentic property, feeling like lords. Everythng needed is provided in a perfect and clean shape. The landview is wonderful and we surely like to come again somethimes.

Special thanks to our host Delyth for prepairing and operating this house.
