The Byre
A quirky barn conversion, beautiful views from the large garden. Property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We were a family of 6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs.

Summer holiday
The property was spotlessly clean and we felt at home straight away. The kitchen is very well equipped and the garden was fantastic for our children to play in. Would definitely recommend!

Peaceful break
The property had enough room for my partner and our four grown up children. We loved the peace of the place and the stunning views from the large garden. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The owners were really responsive to our only concern which was that something outside of anyone's control reduced the Internet capabilities and they did everything they could, so quickly, to rectify this for us. Amazing walks nearby and the most beautiful scenery. Plus the lovely Clovelly is 5 minutes drive.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean cottage in perfect location
We had an amazing stay at the Byre! The location was perfect for a walking holiday, there were so many great sections of coastal path to choose between! Plus several good pubs and quaint villages all nearby too. The cottage itself was well equipped and very comfortable (lovely to have a sea view too!). Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

My wife and I live in Surrey. We have two grown up children and two border collies and we all love to escape the bustle of city life to the tranquility of North Devon whenever we can.

Why they chose this property

We have holidayed in North Cornwall and North Devon since 1987 when our children were toddlers and it has always been our dream to own a little part of this wonderful coastline. in 2004 we saw an advert from an estate agent of a derelict Victorian barn that was to be developed. We were lucky enough to be in from the start and were able to change the plans to suit our requirements although we had to allow for the Grade II listing. I use a wheelchair so we were able to ensure level access to the ground floor and garden.

What makes this property unique

We love that we are one mile from the A39 with it's easy access to North Cornwall and North Devon, yet we are off the road in a peaceful, rural location with outstanding coastal views that many would drive miles to see.
