SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT - QUIRKY, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay for a last minute break at the end of November. We were already familiar with Trefin which we love and wanted somewhere cosy and comfortable in case of bad weather. We were not disappointed. The cottage was a perfect choice, well located near the coastal path, lovely upmarket cafe and village pub just minutes away by foot. Inside, the property is furnished in traditional style reminiscent of the 1950/60s and is very well equipped. The wifi and tv reception is great. There are heaps of informative leaflets, maps and guides, dvds, even some classical cds! Parking is allocated next to the cottage and there is a fair size garden at the rear. The owner is friendly and helpful. The weather was not kind so even more appreciative of the cottage where we slept like logs. Hope to return next year

A pleasant stay in a pleasant location.

Excellent detailed instructions on how to find the property. Homely cottage adequately equipped for an O.A.P., his wife and 20 year old son. Excellent base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast.

Lovely cottage near Pembrokeshire coast path

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cottage, very clean and well equipped and cosy when Storm Angus came in! When the sun shone it was easy distance from the sea and beautiful scenery this coast has to offer. Adrian and his wife are lovely and couldn't be more accommodating and helpful. We had a lovely long weekend here and would recommend it to anyone

Sun, seals and seashells

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the beginning of of October. Cottage was comfortable, well equipped and spotless. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and my dog seemed to be having a good time as well! The cottage is well located in the middle of the village but 5 minutes from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Seals in many of the coves watching over their pups and inspiring scenery. Fantastic holiday. I cannot recommend the cottage and the area enough.

Quaintly old fashioned but has everything you need in a lovely setting.

  • 4 of 5

Some confusion about parking which the owner resolved quickly (it is in front of the adjoining house which belongs to the owner and is called Herston house). The village of Trefin (pronounced Treveen) is lovely with a good pub serving excellent food, a coffee shop which does breakfast and packed lunches and easy access to the coastal path. There is a small rocky beach for fishing, a ruined mill and a field with standing stones which make good subjects for photography. The whole area is delightful but we would have benefited from an ordinance survey map and, of course, the weather was glorious. The cottage is next to Herston house. It was very clean with a nice rear garden and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the week and will be back.
