Orchard Villas is a gated community in Calangute, North Goa. It consists of 21 individually owned 2, 3 and 4 bedroom vibrantly coloured villas, the majority of which are kept for private use. 3 villas are currently available for rent which is helpful if you're a large group. The villas are ideally located for visiting all areas of North Goa. Whether your choice of holiday be sightseeing or sunbathing, Orchard Villas is a perfect base. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa is a mere 14 miles away and the palm fringed, beach shack adorned coast just a few minutes from the villa. The multitude of eateries in the area cater to every taste from 'cheap and cheerful' to 'a la carte' there is a restaurant to suit everyone. International cuisine can be found at most restaurants, not everyone in the group needs to enjoy Indian food. If you prefer to stay in and cook, there are several large supermarkets nearby where you can get many imported food items.
Our Villa owners both live in U.K. and enjoy holidaying in Goa. However, both run successful businesses which means they find it hard to use their villa as much as they would like. By sharing their second homes with other holidaymakers it helps to cover the maintenance costs that come with having a second home abroad. The villas are managed by myself, Kirsty and my husband, Pammy. I am from UK and Pammy is from North India. We both live full time in Goa with our 2 daughters and are on hand to help with anything during your stay.
Villa 37 ' Castlegate' Owners. We are a small family business based in the UK & after several enjoyable holidays in Goa we decided to buy this villa, we looked at many but on build quality & location this is outstanding. We love the position of this villa, it offers great views, it is sheltered from the constant noise of taxis & holiday makers yet only a ten minute walk to the shopping and eating areas in Calangute & another slow ten minute walk to the beach. Our plan is to retire here, but still ten years to go therefore we decided to share our second home with discerning holiday makers. Stuart and Kath.
Villa 41 'Posada' Owners. We always dreamed of a holiday home in the sun and Orchard Villa's is perfect. We bought the villa off plan so was able to influence the layout of our open plan kitchen & dining room. Orchard Villa's give us a peaceful retreat with all the noise & colour of Calangute just a few minutes walk away. Pat and Amanda
We had a great time during our recent stay at Orchard Villas. The complex is beautifully kept and the villa was brilliant, a great space with all the modern amenities and very well maintained. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Goa and thank you and your husband for making us feel welcome and
contributing to a lovely holiday.

If your visiting Goa then this is the best place to stay, the villa is bright clean and modern, the location is quiet and very clean its the perfect chill out for visiting the area as its easily accessible for all area's of Goa.There is 24 hour security for peace of mind and daily maintenance of the grounds. The pool is kept clean twice daily due to the overhanging trees and is a welcome retreat in the heat of the day.Kirsty the owner of the property is only phone call away if you need anything and when you meet her on arrival she explains everything you need to know about the property and the surrounding area. This was the first time i have stayed in a private villa as i usually use hotels but as from now, because of this experience i will always look for this type of property when travelling as it offers so much more freedom to enjoy your time,no time constraints on when you eat or need to be up in a morning.IF you are considering travelling to Goa then this villa is PERFECT!!
Just had 2 weeks at Villa 37, for our first visit to India.
Exactly as described, very well equipped, maintained, decorated and prepared. Clean. Everything works. Tranquil location, within easy and safe walk through local residents area to Calangute centre, and all local beaches, shops and restaurants.
Very secure, 24 hour manned gated residency, vehicle access by request only.
Relaxing and peaceful, views at rear of property over meadow with cattle grazing!
View to front over clean and inviting swimming pool for a dip to cool off!
Power inverter covers for when power cuts occur, and mains powered water purifier
overcomes requirement for bottled water. Good quality fridge freezer, very efficient
for keeping the Kingfisher beer cool!
All staff, maintenance couple, gardener and security very helpful, friendly and polite.
Kirsty and Pammi extremely friendly and helpful, answering all communications fully and timely. Nothing was too much trouble, including making the arrangements for the taxi pick up to and from the airport. Typically reasonable Indian price! They
were on hand if needs be.
An ideal place to base for exploring the local areas, beaches and nearby villages. Use the taxis, they are cheap, but for the full on experience take a tuk tuk, and brace yourself!!
Must take the trip to Dursargar waterfalls and to the spice plantation. Unforgettable memories. Make sure you take some nuts to feed the monkeys!
All in all an ideal accommodation. We shall be visiting India again!!
