A modern, stylish, contemporary apartment. The apartment is located in the most desirable area of the Port de Soller, within easy reach of the popular hotel Esplendido, in the area of Es Traves, only 35 minutes drive from Palma airport. The apartment has a sunny roof terrace and a separate balcony, all with amazing uninterrupted views over the natural harbour and the Mediterranean beyond. Large living area with open plan Kitchen. Master bedroom with newly refurbished bathroom en-suite. The Port is a 10 minute walk down the hill and offers a good selection of shops, local restaurants and bars. There are three sandy beaches a short walk down the hill. The old town of Soller is a short drive or tram ride up the valley. There is a good size infinity edge communal pool with breathtaking views and sunbathing decking and terraces.

We had an amazing time at the apartment. It's very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing time and the best views of the port and sea. We spent most of our days walking in the area and enjoyed coming back to eat our supper on the terrace watching the sun go down. Highly recommended.

Outside: Roof Terrace has lush planting and large L shaped sofas, coffee tables and 2 sunbeds, side table and parasol. The Balcony acts as an extension to the open plan living area with bi fold doors that fold back with teak extendable table and 6 chairs and Webber BBQ. All outside spaces enjoy the breathtaking uninterrupted views. Easy parking. Utility Room: New whirlpool washing machine in bathroom 2. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cotton linen & bathroom towels provided. Duck down pillow and duvets.

Wonderful apartment with breathtaking views

From our first contact with Debbie and Michael Spencer, who were so helpful, we knew we were on to a winner staying in this apartment. Two years ago we had stayed at another apartment in the same development, which shares the same breathtaking pool, but we vastly preferred this year's stay! The apartment is front line with incredible views from the 2 bedroom windows over the port and out to sea. Loved how the whole space had been opened up, leading onto the living space. Beautiful, new, modern and high spec bathroom. Wonderfully equipped kitchen. Great dining terrace with sweeping views and a gorgeous roof terrace with sun pretty much all day and 360 degree views of sea and mountains. We loved cooking and eating in on both terraces (great fishmonger's in the port) but also eating in the port. Sa Barca is lovely and Hotel Esplendido down the hill do killer Margaritas on their terrace! We also took the tram into Soller some evenings and ate at Hotel Salvia (stunning dining terrace and v good food) and at C'an Boqueta, always wonderful. It was simple to order a taxi back after the meals. You do need to be fit to walk back up the very steep hill to the apartment, but it's a lovely 'yomp' and parking is fairly easy in the port if you prefer driving down and back. A wonderful stay. Wonderful apartment with spectacular views!

The apartment is so well appointed, it had everything we could possibly need...a real 'home from home'. It was really nice having a bathroom each, so no 'queuing'. The bed was very comfortable and had spectacular views to wake up to. The furnishings were eclectic but we really liked the style, in fact I don't think we had anything bad to say about the apartment! The terrace overlooking the bay was a favourite spot to have breakfast and the roof terrace was an amazing place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. A trip to the infinity pool with commanding views across the bay was lovely too, very private and not too busy at the times we went. The only downside in having such beautiful views is the hill getting up there, so a car was a must for us, but we took the car a bit further down the hill and parked and found a shortcut with steps so it made the journey down and back easy...and I'm not a mountain goat so it was easy for me! Lovely, lovely stay in what we think is the best resort in Majorca. Thank you to Debbie for good clear instructions and correspondence. Missing it already.....

Beautiful, well equipped, with amazing views

This apartment is well equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. It is perfectly represented in the photos posted. It is an open plan, clean, modern, comfortable apartment with a good sized balcony and roof terrace that gets the sun most of the day. They both over look the incredible view of Port Soller . The information provided by the owner was extremely helpful and we were greeted on our first day by the manager who was available if we needed advise.

We would definitely recommend hiring a car ( Debbie's suggestion was excellent). There are some beautiful places to visit and it was useful for food shopping. We had some beautiful walks, lovely meals and visited some picturesesque villages. We will definitely be rebooking for next year.

First class appt in wonderful location

The apartment is truly first class. It is extremely well fitted out with everything you could need to self cater properly. It is immaculate inside & very well looked after. The location is pretty much second to none. Port de Soller is a beautiful place & the apartment is possibly in the absolute best position, certainly for views. There is a lovely outdoor balcony dining area, a roof terrace with sunbeds & sofas & umbrellas.

Tips: consider taking some dvds/usb movies as there is no live TV. Car hire is a must if nothing else to bring daily shopping back up the long hill. The information that the owners provide is extremely comprehensive & helpful - use the car hire that they recommend, it is very reasonably priced & very low hassle factor. I'm looking forward to returning very much.

A Gem

The apartment is situated above the Port De Soller bay with spectacular views, no need for tv, it's nicer to watch life on the waterfront.

Hiring a car makes trips to the supermercado easy and this is a beautiful part of Mallorca to explore.

Cycling here is superb either on or off road.

The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable. It has the warmth of family ownership that you don't find in any hotel. The pool is clean, cool and the views, incredible.

The owner couldn't have been more helpful in any way, from booking, through to directions for the short journey from Palma, and using the apartment as well as recommendations for activities and dining out in the area.

We'd love to go back there next year,

Beautiful apartment, stunning location

This apartment was well equipped, wonderfully presented and had everything you need for a break with your loved one. We loved that we could lie in bed and look out across Port de Soller from the juliette balcony window. We also loved drinking wine on the balcony, with the spectacular views and lazing on the sun terrace. Everything was wonderfully clean with all mod cons. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Location

Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Port de Soller has 3 beaches in all. The nearest of the Port's beaches is less than a 5 minute drive down the hill or a 10 minute walk. There are also a number of coves (or Calas) along the coast each way towards Deia and Pollensa and small boats can be hired in the Port to explore these Calas.

Travel:

Palma Airport is approximately 35 minutes away. There are taxis available outside the airport and in Port de Soller for the return trip or alternatively you can hire a car. You will travel through the Soller tunnel to enter the Soller Valley for which you will have to pay a toll of approximately 5 euros each way.

Distances:

Nearest major town is Soller which is a 5 min drive or 20 minute tram ride. Other towns nearby are Deia, Valldemossa, Fornalutx or Biniaraix which are all very picturesque and are accessible by the local bus transportation, which also goes to Palma. Shopping facilities, including excellent supermarkets and restaurants in the Port are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Further Details:

Walking and cycling in the Tramuntana Mountains is world famous. Tramuntana Tours in the Port, within walking distance of the apartment, will be able to assist with everything from guided tours to bike hire to maps.

Spa Treatments are available to non residents at the Jumeirah Hotel and Esplendido Hotel both of which are walking distance.

There is a large selection of restaurants in the Port. Deia is a 20 minute drive and has some excellent restaurants including one with a Michelin star and El Olivo at La Residencia Hotel. Another well renowned Michelin star restaurant, Bens Duvall, is a 10 minute drive.
