About the Owner

Regine Bueno (my wife) and Juan Fernández live in Carihuela as well (10 meters away from this property). As a matter of fact, we live in Torremolinos for about 28 years. And we are known by many people because we had the Ristorante Pizzeria Don Peppino on the Paseo Maritimo of Carihuela for more than 20 years. We gave up in 2003 and we do meet many of our old customer. We have grown to love Torremolinos. It's only about 15-minutes drive from Malaga Airport, where you can pick up a hire-car or simply take one of the taxis that are readily available. We also have much family in my hometown Granada which is 120 kilometres from Malaga.

The apartment was clean and well looked after. It's location is excellent, it overlooks the beach and is close to bars,restaurants and shops. We will definitely come back. Juan was there to meet us on arrival and was very accommodating.

Coast/Beach:

As a matter of fact and watching the photos, you realize you can't be any closer to the beach. Actually, the apartment is on the beach.

Travel:

There are flights to Malaga from most main UK airports. The airport is located west of the city of Malaga, approx 7kms (about 15 minutes drive) to the apartment. Car hire is not essential, as all amenities are close by and buses/taxis are readily available. The railway station in Torremolinos town centre serves Malaga to the east and Benalmadena, Fuengirola to the west.

Distances:

Torremolinos town centre (15 mins walk or short bus ride) for shopping etc. Malaga (13kms, about ½ hour by bus or train) for that big shopping trip!. The Costa del Sol offers much to see and do, from water-parks (including Aquapark in Torremolinos), bowling and Tivoli World Theme Park to local ‘fiestas’ and places of historical interest.

Further Details:

There are numerous bars, hotels and nightspots, some with live music and many restaurants, offering a variety of cuisine. For the energetic, there are discotheques and night clubs. Within the nearby pedestrians-only area, there are many interesting shops, selling clothes, leather, souvenirs etc. as well as the usual bakeries, banks, supermarkets etc.
