About the property

Holiday Cottage in Sedgeford, Nr Hunstanton, Norfolk, England - Peaceful Village Location With A Friendly Local Pub & Only 10 Minutes Drive To Fabulous Beaches.

Meadow View is a well equipped and tastefully furnished home from home set in the peaceful village of Sedgeford, with a large garden and picturesque views of the valley below. It is an excellent base for exploring the Norfolk countryside or simply relaxing with a good book in front of the cosy wood burning fire. There is a large timber deck to the rear overlooking the garden mainly laid to lawn but with a pretty meadow (with it's own winding path for children to discover) at the bottom and a trampoline ready to be jumped on! There is ample parking on the driveway.

About Melanie Minns

I live in Oxford with my husband, two children and our rather old & eccentric cat called Bubble. We bought Meadow View in 2005 after completely falling in love with Norfolk and all it has to offer during a friends wedding the year previously. Since then it has transformed from being merely a holiday cottage to a much loved second home and has proved to be an idylic retreat for both ourselves, our family and friends. We are now looking forward to sharing it with you . . .

Beautiful family holiday home

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely holiday home, with everything you could think of. A beautiful big garden which our two children and dog enjoyed playing in.

Loads of things to do in the area, for all age groups.

We had such a great holiday we have already booked for next year.

Great cottage, lovely views

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at Meadow View, our second visit. We'll definitely be coming back when we get a chance.

The cottage is very well equipped, with lots of space, and a fantastic garden.

The local area has many wonderful places to visit, and the wider area has lots to offer too.

Cosy winter retreat

  • 5 of 5

Had great time in this homely, cosy house. Being winter, it was great to light the woodburner and snuggle up on the sofa. The house was well equipped, in particular the kitchen was well stocked, we know as we cooked lots and used nearly everything! Also the beds were very comfortable, especially the main double. I suffer from lower back problems but the mattress was great. The cottage was also located in a quiet spot with beautiful views from the rear to open countryside and well placed to drive to numerous beaches and pretty villages. Alternatively there is a pub in the village 5 mins walk away. When we next return to the area we will be more than happy to stay again. Chris, Deb and Lucy.

Highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend with our 7 year old son and 2 retrievers. We had a great time, it is in a beautiful setting and a great base to explore all that north Norfolk has to offer. The house itself is very comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
