Luxury new front-line apartment with excellent facilities. Fully air conditioned, highly appointed with marble floors throughout. Free high speed fibre wifi broadband. Larger than average, end terrace with use of garden. Large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Twin bedroom and family bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent clubhouse with restaurant and bar a short walk away. Wonderful views of mountains and Mediterranean sea. You can sit on the terrace and look directly down the coast to Almeria which is 150 miles/250 km away.

There is a large swimming pool immediately behind our apartment. The golf course, tennis courts, padel tennis, gym, putting green, boules court and children's play area are a short walk away at the clubhouse. A card entry system is being introduced. Each card will cost 20 euros with 10 euros refunded on returning your card at the end of your stay for the gym, golf, tennis and padel tennis courts. These facilities are otherwise free for the use of our guests.

We love our holiday property and try to make it a home from home. We cannot use the property as much as we would like, so we rent it out so that others can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as contributing to the local economy.

Why Alix Furness chose Marbella area

We love El Soto de Marbella and have been frequent visitors since 2007. The magnificent scenery and peaceful surrounding allow us to unwind and relax. Scenic walks and golf help keep us fit. There are a selection of good restaurants nearby.

We think that the Costa Del Sol has the best climate in Europe, with an average of 320 sunny days per year, you are unlucky if you get bad weather. The proximity of the gulf stream keeps it warmer in winter than other Southern European areas. In December/January the temperatures are similar to May in England and the sun doesn't set until approximately 6.30 pm. The quality of light is very good and it's great to swap the cold and gloom of Northern Europe for the light and warmth of Marbella.

What makes this apartment unique

Because the climate is so good, most of the shops and restaurants remain open all year. Flights to Malaga airport continue all year whereas they stop to other, colder Southern European areas. Our clubhouse and local restaurants are open all year.

Our uninterrupted view is beautiful all year round.

A lovely apartment on a beautifully maintained complex in the lovely and quiet region of El Soto

A very comfortable and spacious apartment with English television and fast speed broadband. The Complex is beautiful, especially the pool area. It is a very quiet and relaxing area away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, though you are only a 10 minute drive ,if you want it. A car is essential, though there is the very good El Soto Golf club house within walking distance, offering great food at reasonable prices. There is also the use of a gym . I can highly recommend this apartment.

Fantastic relaxing break....

Another fantastic stay at El Soto. The apartment was lovely with large bedrooms and bathrooms, great lounge and dining areas and just a short 1 minute stroll to the large pool which was never busy even in August! El Soto has some great facilities including free golf on the Par 3 Course and the free use of the newly refurbished gym and tennis courts. The food at the Clubhouse is well priced and the club was pretty busy every night so booking is recommended. There are some excellent beaches in Elveria at the bottom of the hill but our favourite is at Capopino and it has some excellent beach bars/restaurants and the sea/beach is shallow and very safe for kids.

Marbella is a 15 - 20 minute drive and if shopping is your thing then La Canada will keep you occupied! (It's like a small Westfield)

All in all a great place to go to chill out and recharge the batteries....

Lovely holiday

We rented the apartment for a week. After the previous week in an apartment elsewhere with no air-con, this week was so much more relaxing. Lovely apartment with spacious rooms and spotless. Lovely bathrooms. Pool across the way lovely and never busy, clubhouse staff very friendly, good value food. Best apartment and facilities of this type of holiday that we've had. Website photos don't do it justice.

RELAXING FAMILY HOLIDAY

MY HUSBAND, MYSELF AND 2 GIRLS AGED 9 AND 15 SPENT 2 WEEKS HERE AT THE START OF JULY 2014.

THE ONLY DOWN TO THE HOLIDAY WAS THE CLIMB UP THE MOUNTAIN TO GET TO EL SOTO. I THOUGHT OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE BOOKING A HOLIDAY IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE BUT BY THE END OF THE WEEK WE HAD THE DRIVE UP AND DOWN THE MOUNTAIN DOWN TO A FINE ART AND DOWN TO A 7 MINUTE TRIP.

I WAS A BIT WORRIED THE KIDS MIGHT BE A BIT BORED BUT THEY HAD THE TIME OF THEIR LIFE. MY 15 YEARS OLD LOVED SHOPPING AT LA CANADA ON HE OUTSKIRTS OF MARBELLA AND DRAGGED US ALONG FOR QUITE A FEW SHOPPING TRIPS.

THE APARTMENT WAS LOVELY AND WELL EQUIPPED WITH STUNNING VIEWS OVER THE COAST.

EATING OUT WASN'T A PROBLEM AS WE SPENT ALMOST EVERY NIGHT IN THE CLUBHOUSE AS THE FOOD AND SERVICE WERE BRILLIANT. THE FOOD WAS REASONABLY PRICED AND THE STAFF COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR US. ROSS THE MANAGER WAS A LOVELY MAN.

GREAT PLACE FOR SIGHTSEEING AS YOU ARE FAIRLY CENTRAL FOR VISITING OTHER RESORTS UP AND DOWN THE COSTA DEL SOL ALTHOUGH, WE WERE ALWAYS HAPPY TO GET BACK TO THE APARTMENT AFTER A DAYS SIGHTSEEING.

BACK HOME NOW AND TOTALLY GUTTED TO BE BACK IN THE UK (YES ITS RAINING AGAIN). ONLY THING KEEPING US GOING IS THE THOUGHT THAT WE MAY BE ABLE TO GO BACK AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

Excellent stay

7 nights , in March , 4 adults and a baby. The apartment worked great. The garden area was big enough for the morning and the Pool area was fine. Complex was very quiet and access to the Par 3 course easy but a lot of fun. Wi Fi was great and the clubhouse for dinner excellent value . We'll return for sure. Car hire is essential , and nearby town of Elviria fine for everything you need. Good value !!

Amazing!

We had a truely wonderful two weeks of R & R during August at this amazing apartment.

The apartment its self was outstanding. Beautifully furnished & decorated, just as it appears in the photographs.

The complex was well kept & we loved the walk up to the club house for an evening drink or a meal, We even booked for a couple of their event nights which were great fun for all the family. The pools were crystal clear & we couldn't get over how there were always sunbeds available.There was a friendly atmosphere where we felt happy to talk to others or keep to our selves as our mood dictated.

We did eventually get used to the drive up & down the mountain to the supermarket & beautiful beaches.

It is in a perfect location for visiting other sights.

We would have no hesitation in returning to this apartment, our only regret is that we need a 3 bedroom apartment this year.
