Ideal location

This was an immaculately presented property, with the added bonus of a parking space - essential if arriving by car. The location was excellent - just a few minutes walk to the centre of beautiful York. Very clean, comfortable, well equipped & with a conveniently situated Sainsbury's just across the road. Sparkling wine & chocolates provided foe Valentine's day ! No hesitation in recommending.

Absolutely fantastic

This was property was absolutely excellent. Superbly clean and brilliant facilities. Very close to York town centre. Would definitely recommend this to couples or a small family.

Also very personal extra added touches - fresh flowers and homemade scones on arrival.

From the Owner

This apartment is next to No 6, on the ground floor, very central yet quiet location with allocated parking. Also in a great position to get in and out of York by road so all the attractions of North Yorkshire, ie moors, coast are easily accesible.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Leeds/Bradford or Manchester at 50 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Hull at 65 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Whitby/Scarborough/Robin Hoods Bay at 55 Kilometres Car: not necessary


The beautiful North Yorkshire Coast is accessible by car and is approximately one hour from the apartment.


Car is not necessary as York is a vibrant city with lots to see and do.

Leeds/Bradford 40 minutes by road.

Manchester 1 hour 30 minutes by road. Good Train Service Direct to York.

London 2 hours by rail and Edinburgh 2 hours 30 minutes by rail.


Harrogate 21 miles - 30 minutes by rail

Leeds 27 miles - 20 minutes by rail

Further Details:

The historic sights of York, medieval streets, York Minster, Viking Centre, are all within a short stroll. The Visitor Centre is 5 minutes walk. All the attractions, shops, bars, restaurants and night-life are all close by. Sainsbury supermarket is 2 minutes walk.
