Comfortable cottage in perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was well presented and very spacious. There is a lovely courtyard garden which was great duting the very hot weather we experienced. We noticed a new BBQ but didn't use it on our short break. Inside there are comfy sofas and the bedrooms clean and fresh. The beds are cosy but is was very hot at night when we were there. A fan would have been useful. The showers are nice and powerful and there are two which is a good idea.

The cottage is well placed for the local pub, which does a great G and T. With Fevertree tonic water which is always a good sign. The food was also good with a seafood emphasis. There is also a convenient Co Op and two other pubs.

Bosham is great for walking and stunning estuary views. We lived our stay and will be back. We stayed a bit further out of the village last year. It is much better to be right by the river.

The owners provide helpful information and are quick to respond to any questions.

A lovely cottage in lovely Bosham

  • 3 of 5

The cottage feels spacious yet warm and homely. It is simply but very comfortably furnished. I spent Christmas week there with my family - 5 adults and 2 children and it was perfect for our needs. But, and it is a big but, the cottage is in real need of some TLC and some basic maintenance work. It was also not as clean as it should have been. Chris, the owner, was extremely helpful when I made him aware of various problems. With a bit of investment of time and money it could be the perfect cottage in the perfect location.

Wonderful property in a great location

  • 4 of 5

We used this property as a family meeting point having travelled from Australia. The house is full of charm and is in a wonderful location. There was sufficient space for our two daughters and their children without feeling we were on top of each other. The property was well equpped but having come from the land of the bbq, we would suggest that this piece of equipment be given a once over? Outside, much fun was had guessing how far the tide would reach up the road! The pub was a short walk away, but beware weekends when it took ages to be served and the food was not of the best. The village is delightful with great walks from the front door. Would we visit again?Everyone was of the view that the answer would be a definte yes.

Short break

  • 5 of 5

Myself and my family stayed here the night before my wedding as I was married just down the road at the Millstream Hotel. The cottage was ideal with all we needed and surprisingly spacious for us to get ready for my big day! We know Bosham well and come here regularly and love it here! The owner Chris was very helpful and lovely to talk to.

Perfect country cottage for a family stay & easy distance for Goodwood.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at High water Cottage in Bosham for 3 nights in June, during the Festival of Speed for Goodwood.

Easy travelling to Goodwood by taxi from village.

Beautiful country cottage and lovely charming village. 3 Country pubs, cafes, shop, and gift shop in village.

The cottage was well equipped for a lovely family stay.

The accommodation was perfect for our family, 5 adults, 2 children.

Thinking of re-booking for next year.
