Relaxing holiday in beautiful apartment.

Betty and Rob were friendly and very helpful. They picked us up from the airport and gave us a guided tour of El Cotillo before dropping us off at the apartment and showing us round. This was invaluable to get our bearings and find out where the supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants were located.

The apartment was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The sun terrace was a godsend - spacious and very private.

We can definitely recommend this property to those looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

Romeo and Guillietta and Sottovento are two great places to eat in El Cotillo if you like Italian food.

El Cotillo apartment

We had a fantastic relaxing holiday in this apartment. We were met by the owners Betty & Rob who handed us the keys & explained everything. The apartment is spotless,well maintained & very well equipped to a high standard. The roof terrace gets sun all day & is a nice place to have breakfast on a morning or just chill out with a beer. Highly recommended & we hope to return next year.

Luxurious apartment

This is probably the most luxurious apartment I have ever had the pleasure to stay for my holiday.

This apartment is equipped with every single item you would ever need to make your holiday a holiday of a lifetime - even a dishwasher!!!!

The beaches are probably the best in the world and the sunshine!!! need I say more.

Betty & Rob ensure that your stay is exceptional. I would recommend to anyone that this is the holiday accommodation for you. Top marks.

10 minute walk to the famous lagoon beaches.

10 minute walk to the surfing beaches.

Travel:

45 minute drive from the only airport on the island, Puerto del Rosario.

15 minute drive from ferry in Corelejo.

Further Details:

El Cotillo is a small fishing village and although it has grown considerably over the last few years, it still retains its original charm and beauty. The village is dedicated to the virgin of good travel (Virgin de Buen Viaje) where the words can be seen painted on the cliffs in the old harbour.

Situated on the northwest corner of Fuerteventura, El Cotillo is a peaceful place but it offers some good restaurants, bars, cafes and well stocked supermarkets.

El Cotillo has to be one of the most appealing resorts on the island, this is due to the fantastic beaches and lagoons that lie to the south of this little harbour town.

The famous lagoon beach is one of the safest areas to swim on the whole of the island. Lots of 'cooking pots' on the beaches (circular hand built walls of stone) where you can shelter from the Fuerteventurian wind to maximise your tan

From the cliffs to the left of the village, you will see one of the best surfing beaches on the island - there are several footpaths that lead down to the Playa del Castillo, one of the nicest beaches in this region.

Further to the south are the beaches of Playa del Ajibe de la Cueva and the Playa del Aguila, both wild and remote.

On the cliffs near to the town centre, south of the harbour and overlooking the sea, is the Fortaleza del Tostón.

This round shaped fort was built in the late 1790's to defend against invading pirates.

The old harbour, with its small bars and restaurants, is the most picturesque part of town and it is here you'll find most of the bars and restaurants.

Just to the north of the Cotillo Lagoons is the Faro - lighthouse.
