About Annie Bannister

We are a family of 5 who live near Manchester in the UK. We discovered Vilamoura 8 years ago and have been coming back several times a year ever since. We love the boats in the marina, the great weather and the refreshing atlantic breeze that keeps the weather perfect. We have 3 great children now aged 13, 14 and 16 who continue to love Vilamoura and all it has to offer. We purchased our apartment in 2011 and completely refurbished it over 2012/3.

Why Annie Bannister chose Loule region

We have been coming to Vilamoura so often over the last few years that buying a property just made good sense. We love being right on the marina and not having to have a car. Vilamoura is very flat so walking, jogging and cycling are all pretty enjoyable. We chose this apartment as it was directly on the marina but in the quieter part of the marina so we could still get a good nights sleep despite bars and restaurants and marina clubs staying open until the small hours.

Beautiful setting and apartment well equipment .

I have just returned after spending 4 days with my Mum and sisters, celebrating my Mum's 80th. Although quite a few steps in the apartment, the resort itself is very flat, which was idea for my Mum. The view of the marina from the apartment is beautiful. There are also lots of lovely restaurants and we found them reasonably priced, which considering there locations we were pleasantly surprised. Also very friendly and very welcoming. A lovely short break for us all.

Super Apartment!!

Fabulous apartment on the marina, really spacious, has everything you could possibly want, including Wifi, it's Home from Home ! Would highly recommend this apartment for your Vilamoura stay . Linda looked after us really well, so friendly and very flexible. Location couldn't be better , we can't wait to come back to it,

Wonderful apartment & fantastic location

This was our 1st time in Vilamoura & this apartment. The apartment is beautiful, clean, well equipped & in a perfect position. Annie was very helpful with the booking & Andy the chap who manages it for her was very informative about the surrounding area. We have already booked for next year & look forward to our return visit.

A beautiful location

This is the first time our golfing party have stayed in an apartment in villamoura , we usually book one of the hotels in the marina, the apartment was in an excellent location, with a beautiful view if the marina both at day and night, very quiet but still only a few steps away from cafes bars , short walk to beach , we will be using this apartment again as it ticked all the right boxes . Excellent

Perfect!

We have stayed in Vilamoura previously but this was the first time in this apartment as we travelled with friends and needed enough space to share. This apartment was perfect and provided everything we needed. Modern, comfortable and clean. Annie, the owner was very helpful via email during the booking process and Andy, the local manager, who met us on arrival was friendly and helpful. This apartment is seconds from all the bars and restaurants in the marina but also very peaceful, no noise at night. Beds are very comfortable and the apartment is equipped with everything you might need. The seating on both outside terraces is very comfortable with awnings and large parasols if you need some shade. We will definitely book again.

Luxury apartment

We had a lovely time in June 2014, in a repeat visit from 2013 and 2012. The weather has been good each time. You can sit at the apartment and watch all the action on the marina, or you can go to the beach, or just sit by the pool in the apartment complex. I like it because the apartment itself is very quiet, but the marina bars and restaurants are just around the corner. It is so pretty by the marina - and the direct marina access means you can just walk down the steps from the apartment onto the marina walkway. There is a little supermarket just by the apartment block and a bigger one just behind the marina, as well as a big pharmacy just in case you forget something or need any medication. There is air conditioning too, which I didn't use. All the facilities are modern and very clean - shower rooms, kitchen, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. When we walked into the apartment you could tell it had been thoroughly cleaned and well looked after. We will definitely be going back.

A few minutes walk to award winning, safe and beautiful sandy beaches with high class beach restaurants.

Travel:

About 25 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car hire is not essential in Vilamoura as everything is within walking distance.

Distances:

Very interesting local market in Quarteira (weekly). Easy drives to Faro, Loule, Albufeira, Portimao, Silves, Monchique and Lagos. Short drive to Almancil, Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

Further Details:

Good local supermarkets, banks, shops in and around marina. Boat trips, fishing trips, and water sports freely available. Quad biking and wine tasting.

Local days out at Zoo Marine near Albuferia, and Splash and slide water park near Almancil.
