Situated at ground and first floor level overlooking Vilamoura Marina and with direct access onto the marina through locked gate from raised ground floor terrace. While the nearest restaurant is just 200 paces away, the apartment is in the quietest part of the marina. Award winning golf courses surround vilamoura - can easily be reached by short taxi ride or vilamoura's public bikes or tourist train.

About Annie Bannister

We are a family of 5 who live near Manchester in the UK. We discovered Vilamoura 8 years ago and have been coming back several times a year ever since. We love the boats in the marina, the great weather and the refreshing atlantic breeze that keeps the weather perfect. We have 3 great children now aged 13, 14 and 16 who continue to love Vilamoura and all it has to offer. We purchased our apartment in 2011 and completely refurbished it over 2012/3.

Why Annie Bannister chose Vilamoura

We have been coming to Vilamoura so often over the last few years that buying a property just made good sense. We love being right on the marina and not having to have a car. Vilamoura is very flat so walking, jogging and cycling are all pretty enjoyable. We chose this apartment as it was directly on the marina but in the quieter part of the marina so we could still get a good nights sleep despite bars and restaurants and marina clubs staying open until the small hours.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: Separate Air-conditioning in each room. Direct marina access through locked gate from raised ground floor terrace. No need for a car, but there is secure underground parking. Apt was completely refurbished 2012-13. Apartment now has full internet access through secure wi-fi. No Smoking or pets allowed in apartment for the comfort of all our guests. Outside: Olympic size swimming pool surrounded by gardens which have sunbeds and umbrellas for apt block residents use only. Dining table and chairs on upper terrace. Seating and Sunbeds on upper and lower terraces. Utility Room: Washing machine and tumble drier. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (bath and swimming) and bed linen included. Extra cleaning can be arranged on request.

Lovely stay in Villamoura

We have stayed in Villamoura many times but always in a hotel. We and our two friends thought it would be a change to stay in an apartment.

The apartment is in an excellent position with beautiful views across the marina. The two main bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage space. The third bedroom is small and we just used it to store or cases in.

Very well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. The best parts are the two large outside spaces with seating.

It is a lovely apartment but we felt it was a bit "unloved". The outside furniture is looking very worn and stained. We had an issue with the drains in both showers blocking up. Linda did come and put some cleaner down but there was still a smell more so from the lower floor ensuite.

We had beautiful weather all week and really enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful setting and apartment well equipment .

I have just returned after spending 4 days with my Mum and sisters, celebrating my Mum's 80th. Although quite a few steps in the apartment, the resort itself is very flat, which was idea for my Mum. The view of the marina from the apartment is beautiful. There are also lots of lovely restaurants and we found them reasonably priced, which considering there locations we were pleasantly surprised. Also very friendly and very welcoming. A lovely short break for us all.

Fabulous apartment on the marina, really spacious, has everything you could possibly want, including Wifi, it's Home from Home ! Would highly recommend this apartment for your Vilamoura stay . Linda looked after us really well, so friendly and very flexible. Location couldn't be better , we can't wait to come back to it,

Very interesting local market in Quarteira (weekly). Easy drives to Faro, Loule, Albufeira, Portimao, Silves, Monchique and Lagos. Short drive to Almancil, Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

Further Details:

Good local supermarkets, banks, shops in and around marina. Boat trips, fishing trips, and water sports freely available. Quad biking and wine tasting.

Local days out at Zoo Marine near Albuferia, and Splash and slide water park near Almancil.
