This beautiful and spacious two bedroom duplex apartment is located in a peaceful, quiet, and extremely safe condominium of only 24 apartments in the picturesque village of Alvor. Three balconies (with countryside and sea views) overlook the large pool and beautifully maintained gardens. Fully fitted with everything you need to enjoy your stay including air-conditioning and well equipped kitchen. The apartment is situated just a short walk (3-5 minutes) away from the centre of the ancient fishing village where you will find a spectacular riverside harbour with stunning views, sandy beaches and an abundance of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Large supermarket is just two minutes walk. For golfers, world class course at Penina is just 5 minutes drive. Child friendly. Car is not necessary. 45 minutes to Faro airport. Private parking is available.WIFI & cable TV now included !

Hi, We would like to introduce ourselves as the owners of this lovely apartment in Alvor. We are a family of two parents and three children who live in the North west of England. My name is Julie and I am the owner of two shops in the town, Booshooz selling beautiful children's shoes, ladies Fitflops etc I also have a children's clothing boutique called Bookidz. My husband Dario is a native of Alvor and as such has a comprehensive knowledge of the local area, Shops, sightseeing, the best beaches,restaurants etc. We have been staying in this apartment block for the past 8 years and have tried others but none has compared due to the tranquil yet central location,the beautiful Swimming pool, gorgeous gardens and the spacious apartments, Enjoy!

When we chose to purchase this property above all others in the area in 2012 we had stayed in many apartments in Alvor over the past 30 years, this was the only complex that ticked all the boxes, Central but peaceful (5 minutes walk from the centre of the village), 2 Minutes walk to supermarket, Complex is small and quiet with only 22 apartments and a larger than average pool meaning no overcrowding, Beautiful gardens overlooked from all front balconies, Countryside over looked from all rear balconies,perfect location for Beach, Bars, Restaurants ECT.

We are proud to say that our apartment is true home from home with everything you need and more for a perfect holiday, please let us know if you need any advis eon anything regarding the area whether you are planing to stay in our apartment or elsewhere, always happy to help !

Immaculate and comfortable apartment in a tranquil setting

Overall, the apartment, gardens and swimming pool were as good as we had expected from other reviewers. The apartment is situated very close to the harbour and its many fine restaurants. The board walks around the estuary and along the beach were stunningly beautiful and we certainly plan to return to Alvor. Unfortunately there was heavy rain and high winds for the first couple of days, do Maria had to come to our rescue with a couple of convector heaters because it was so cold. We would certainly recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to stay in high quality accommodation, but not to anyone who has issues with climbing stairs. (There are two flights to the apartment and one within the apartment.)

Owner's Response: Hi Sandra, so glad to hear that you loved the apartment and Alvor and appreciated the lovely gardens and pool area, sorry to hear that you had bad weather for the first 2 days of your stay, the air conditioning units in all of the rooms supply hot air as well as cold and we have additional heaters in the under stairs cupboard for clients use, also cold weather duvets in the wardrobes. This is our second time to stay at Julie and Darios wonderful apartment.Everything went smoothly from booking to meeting Maria on arrival.Everything is as described,There is plenty of room with views over the pool from ground and upper levels.The kitchen is well stocked for a self catering holiday with the pingo supermarket on your doorstep and the village no more than 5 minutes away.We would recommend this apartment for your stay in Alvor. Excellent apartment ideally situated to enjoy Alvor

We were met by the wonderfully helpful Maria. The apartment is excellent it is beautifully furnished with very tasteful decor which takes it above your usual holiday let. It is very spacious and the split level ideal when you have teenagers. The location is nice and quiet but just a short walk into the centre of Alvor. The pool is great well maintained and never seemed busy. The view from both sets of balconies is nice and would be good to have a couple of chairs on the upstairs balcony level to fully enjoy it. All in all we had an excellent time and would highly recommend this apartment.

First time visit to Alvor. Apartment was very clean well maintained. Met by Maria on arrival no problems everything went smoothly. Location was definitely a plus a vry quiet complex and ,an easy 5 minute walk to Alvor central..Pool well maintained also gardens. Would not hesitate to recommend property to others.

Have been coming to alvor for 11yrs and always try to stay at different places and first time here.It is as described and is situated in a great location.We were met at the gates by paula who showed us to our apt and gave us our keys.Apt was spotless with great views over pool and countryside.Would not hesitate to recommend julie and darios apt and hope to stay again.
