Second floor apartment with fabulous timber decked terrace overlooking Port De Ciutadella. Beneath you you will see boats coming and going all day from the local fishermen to luxury yachts. It's enchanting and something to behold. It really is 180 degrees of magic. The front façade is totally glazed to maximise the dramatic panorama. Step inside the sliding glass doors and you enter a beautiful open plan living area featuring a stunning kitchen with granite tops. It is equipped with everything that you could require to cook that perfect meal from your days shopping at the local market. You can dine al fresco on the terrace or inside at the marble topped dining table. There is a large flat screen TV for children with many English channels. The air conditioning can be a god send in the hot summer months. Then its down the corridor to the two luxury bathrooms featuring Roca fittings and the three luxurious bedrooms. A large double, a twin and a single all with built in storage.

About the Owner

We are a family of five. Mum, Dad and three daughters 17,14 and 9. We initially happened upon Ciutadella by chance on a last minute booking and immediately fell in love with the whole place. Ciutadella is such a safe place to stay with children. Our girls can walk into town for a soft drink or to the local beach/pool without Mum & Dad - something we would not consider at home. The local people love children and are very friendly. We have been lucky enough to visit many parts of the world in 4 and 5* hotels but always came back to Vista Puerto year after year. We love it and we are sure you will.

Really well located. Great views and easy to walk into town or the square in the evening. Inside I thought this was a different class as there was definitely a feel as if this was a much loved family apartment due to the obvious care taken and equipment levels which were way above what I would normally have expected in a rental. The bedroom layout was great and all really well appointed. AC in the evenings was a blessing to cool down the rooms for sleeping. Nice touch. We managed to forget some of our DVDs that the kids had selected to bring with us so it was a great bonus to find the selection available in the apartment. The kids had some great movie nights whilst we enjoyed the views from the balcony.

All in all, both my wife and I (and the kids) absolutely loved it.

Quality throughout & spotless with a really good location.

Just got back from a week staying at this gorgeous apartment, superbly located. We loved how we were five minutes walk from so many options along with the harbour on the doorstep. In the next square there is a bus station that does trips to the virgin beaches and there is a bike hire place along the street which we used on two days to explore the stunning Menorcan landscape. We got picnic supplies from a supermarket one block away. You are surrounded by amazing restaurants, buzzing clubs, night markets, historic buildings....the list could go on and yet the apartment itself was like an oasis of calm in this bustling hub. Beautifully finished, spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped - it was a wonderful place for a relaxing breakfast on the balcony and drinks before going out in the evening. The sound proofing was excellent and along with the excellent air conditioning meant we slept well. The apartment has fast wifi. Tim could not have been more helpful - easy to get hold of and quick to answer any questions. The complete five star experience - thank you!

Magnificent location - extremely high spec apartment. Ideal for a family holiday in a wonderful city

The apartment provides perfect accommodation for a family holiday. Extremely clean, modern property in the heart of a traditional Spanish city. All modern day requirements provided, including new appliances, excellent air-conditioning and good wi-fi. What makes this apartment unique however, is its amazing location. The good sized balcony overlooks Ciutadella's wonderful harbour and the main city is within a few minutes walk. The owners of this property are extremely helpful and willing to answer any queries, alongside the provision of very useful information regarding Ciutadella and the surrounding area. Would not hesitate to recommend this property; indeed have already done so to friends and family.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in Ciutidella Menorca and loved our stay in Tim's apartment. He was always great about communication, the apartment had everything we needed and the location was the best! Perfect Location and Great Apartment

My husband and I just spent a magical week in this apartment in Ciutadella. What we saw of the rest of the island confirmed our choice to stay here, rather than anywhere else on the island. Tim was great about communication and the apartment couldn't have been more comfortable - and the location is in perfect proximity to everything we wanted! Our only complaint was the absence of WIFI, though Tim told us before we booked that there wasn't any - think he'll be addressing that soon!

Gorgeous apartment

It was a lovely holiday great apartment in a perfect setting watching the boats load up and get out in the morning with coffee and ensaimada was a fab way to start the day... During the day the beaches were just lovely son saura being our favourite

In the evening the atmosphere of the port was fantastic so lively but once inside you couldn't hear a thing the location of this apartment was really perfect. The apartment itself is very chic and more than met our needs as a family of 4 I can't recommend this highly enough thanks!

We love everything about this property. We have visited it for 5 years before buying it. We all say that sitting on the terrace is our happy place. It's just magical from dawn until dusk. Ciutadella is real Spain. It functions all year with or without tourists. It is steeped in history and the architecture is magical. It's like being on a movie set. It is also a food lovers paradise. If you are also a foodie you will love this apartment. I can stand in my kitchen doing prep for a paella and see million pound boats passing the front window. Takes some beating that!

Walking & Horse Riding - Cami de Cavalls, The Path of Horses, is the name given to the medieval coastal path around Menorca. After 400 years it is once again open. Legislation has now been passed to enable the path to be reinstated for public use. Inevitably it does not follow exactly the track of the original road due to developments over the centuries. Parts of the Cami de Cavalls are now open for horses. Whether as a walker or rider, visitors and Menorcans now enjoy exploring the old road. As you may have read elswhere the coastline of this small Islandis peppered with inlets and bays and in total runs for almost 140 miles,220 Kms to be exact.


Menorca is all about the beaches. The local beach Plaitja Gran is a 500 meters walk from the front door. You can also easily access the resorts of Cala Blanca and Cala'n Bosch ( 5 & 10 mins respectively by car) and from the excellent local bus service from just around the corner as well as the virgin beaches of Son Saura and Turqueta. Cala Galdana which must be one of the most beautiful beaches in all of the Balearics is about twenty minutes by car as is the virgin beach Cala Mitjana.


Mahon Airport is 50 mins by car. Ciutadella ferry terminal is 5 mins by taxi. The local bus stop from where you can access all parts of the island is literally around the corner. Son Parc Golf is about 45 mins by car.


Nearest town 100 meters. Closest restaurant 20 meters. Closest Supermarket 75 meters. Mahon 50 minutes by car. Nowhere on the island is more than an hour away by car. Local Cathedral 250mtrs. Local museum 500mtrs. Local market 750 meters.

Further Details:

On the far western end of Minorca lays the city of Ciutadella, the old capital of the island. Its remote origins have left an important archaeological heritage in the area, in the form of megaliths such as the "taulas" (megalith), the Talaiot and the navetas. This beautiful port city's historic quarter declared of Cultural Interest, called Es Born, is surrounded by medieval streets filled with palaces, churches and fortresses. Not far, visitors will discover excellent Minorcan coves and beaches, as well as remote fishing towns. To all this you must add the delicious traditional cuisine from Minorca, based on seafood and fish. The apartment could not be in a better location. Whilst the harbour setting is peaceful and romantic and a great place for people/boat watching. You are literally a stones throw from the port promenade of restaurants catering to all tastes especially lovers of seafood. From here you can take boat trips, hire your own boat or even take scuba diving lessons. Around the corner is a bus stop servicing all parts of the island. This is in a beautiful pedestrianised shaded square lined with coffee bars and patisseries. There is a large safe children's play area for the little ones to play in whilst you take your morning coffee. This is adjacent to the Placa de's Born with more coffee shops and Tapas bars. Here you will also find the Saturday market. There are evening markets each night selling everything from hair braids to artisan cheese. From there it is a short stroll into the main part of the old town and it's huge selection of tapas bars and restaurants. There is an excellent market with fresh fish and several butchers. The town has every sort shop one could wish for. Further along the port are a few nightclubs and chill out bars for those of a nocturnal persuasion. There is lot's of free music on offer in the evening in the summer months. The local beach is excellent for swimming and snorkelling and is just 500 mtrs from the front door.
