Apartment in Verbier, Valais, Switzerland - In Peaceful, Wooded Surroundings, Yet Only a 5-Minute Walk To The Main Medran Ski Lift

This spacious (101m2) chalet is situated in a great location just a short walk from the lifts and the centre of town whilst being away from all the hustle and bustle, creating the perfect mountain retreat.

It has been furnished to the highest standard throughout, with wooden and slate floors and granite work surfaces. The sitting room has comfortable sofas and fantastic mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows that lead out onto the south-west facing terrace and garden.

If you plan an evening in, there is multi-channel internet TV & radio, wireless broadband, DVD player, and a Hi-Fi with CD player and iPod connection to entertain you. The apartment also has a large selection of DVDs, books and games, and the log-burning fireplace and under floor heating will keep the apartment cosy no matter what the temperatures are like outside.

The apartment sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom. There are two large fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom has a king-size double bed and a purpose-built single bunk above. There is a large fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Directly opposite the second bedroom is a separate shower room with WC. Radio/alarms, reading lights and chairs are provided in both bedrooms.

Dining

The apartment is self-catering, although arrangements can be made for a chef to cater for evening meals at an additional cost. The kitchen is well equipped for a self-catering holiday, with an extensive range of utensils including a fondue set and both filter and Nespresso coffee machines.

Families & Kids

A selection of children's' DVDs and games is provided and a baby cot is available in the apartment.

The apartment has its own underground parking space.

We are keen skiers and have been skiing in Verbier for well over 20 years. We live in the UK but visit Verbier as frequently as we can, taking the opportunity to go ski-touring in the winter / spring months and hiking in the summer and autumn. We know the area very well and would be glad to provide any advice that may help with your visit.

Why Marcus Doyle chose 4 Valleys

We have spent many years skiing in various resorts, but always returned to Verbier as our favourite place. We bought the apartment new (off plan) and had it finished according to our preferences. Its location is very important to us - we took a long time to find our ideal spot. It offers the advantage of being just a 5-minute walk from the ski lift and 10 minutes from the centre of town, yet it is away from the noise and disturbance that can come from the town at night and in the early mornings. It also has a view that looks out towards the evening sun and a wondeful mountain backdrop.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is no-smoking and no-pets - sorry. Outside: The apartment has a private south-west facing garden terrace with an outside lawn-area. Utility Room: Ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & linen are included. The property is cleaned and towels / linen changed from 10am-3pm on guest change-over days - the apartment is not available for use during this time. Change-over day usually is a Sunday, unless otherwise indicated/agreed. Other: Entrance hall with cupboard space, coat and boot storage, bench seat. Ski & boot room with dedicated locker situated in the basement of the chalet.

Great property in a super great location

We had a great stay in the spacious 2 bedroom ski apartment in Les Chalets De Medran. The apartment offered us everything we needed for a party of four - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious lounge and dining room, and a well equipped kitchen. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and more!

The owners were super helpful in the lead up to our trip and very responsive during our stay. They gave us some great local tips which we enjoyed, particularly the route to ski/snowboard directly back to the apartment. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Verbier

Really well equipped, cosy, warm apartment, lovely little touches everywhere and upon arrival, great location for lift access and central verbier.

Owners very helpful with any information you require.......we loved it and would highly recommend.

Payment must be made in full if the booking is made within 6 weeks of the arrival date.  For all other bookings a deposit of CHF 400 per week is required on booking with the balance to paid not less than 6 weeks prior to arrival; otherwise the booking may be cancelled with loss of deposit. 42-30 days notice - 60% of full amount
30-15 days notice- 75% of full amount
14-0 days notice- 100% of full amount

Changeover Day:
Changeover day usually is Sunday; occasionally Saturday if indicated / agreed otherwise. Access to the apartment is from 3.00pm on the first day of rental; the property should be vacated by 10.00am for cleaning of the apartment prior to guest changeover.

Notes on prices:
Prices are inclusive of all taxes and also include cleaning, towels, linen and laundry.
