Studio Apartment in Les Deux Alpes, France - Great Location. Just Off Main Road But Set Back Into Hillside So Very Quiet. Reserved Covered Parking

Welcome to our beautiful studio apartment with fantastic views of the town and mountains. Sleeps 2 to 3 people (comfortable double sofa bed in living area and a single day bed in the Coin Nuit). Perfect for a small family. Full sized kitchen. A private covered parking bay is available. UK Sky TV. WIFI. Extremely private balcony with fabulous south facing views of the mountains and town. The apartment is located in a building just off the main road, which gives easy access to both sides of the mountain, shops, restaurants, etc. The building is set into the hill so it is possible to ski back to the apartment (off-piste). A short-cut through the car park takes you to the main road.

Hello there!

We are both very keen skiers and even keener downhill mountain bikers! We first came to Les Deux Alpes in the summer of 2006 needing a ski fix, we returned at Christmas and then again in February having fallen in love with the place. By May 2007 we'd bought this apartment! Since then we have bought a second apartment here which means that you are now lucky enough to be able to stay at our beautiful apartment with those amazing views! We spend most, if not all, of our holidays here, it is a truly special place. We look forward to sharing it with you.

Our stay in Les 2 Alpes was great and your apartment was lovely, everything we wanted and needed, and Tory was very friendly and helpful. We did a mixture of skiing, cycling, walking and a few runs on the luge, and it was all great.

Les Deux Alpes - Apartment in Le Pluton

We (a couple plus 7 yr old) enjoyed our holiday in this super apartment. Its a typical ski apartment size but very modern, stylish with a well appointed kitchen and facilities. Our first time to L2A and we were very pleasantly surprised as the apartment it was actually much closer to the main village than it looks on maps! Lovely views from the balcony and its only a few mins walk down the ad hoc toboggan run from the covered car park and we were at our ski hire and ski school meeting. It all worked out really very well as the piste-side hotels were a good place to hire and store skis/boots, and the ski school meeting place was nearby. We really liked the town and with an ATM and supermarket on the way home so close it was very easy to get around with a youngster in tow. Covered, safe and secure parking space in our block was a real asset. L2A isn’t too far from Grenoble either which makes the winding roads part of the journey a little shorter. Beginners-Intermediates will enjoy the resort as its superb for good greens, blues, reds. We appreciated the support of local management team and they will make you feel welcome and settled. A delightful apartment in a delightful resort.

Special interest holidays:

Lift assisted Mountain biking (no uphills!!) and Summer Glacier Skiing are available from June until the end of August. The Chairlifts/cable cars/funicular are open to 'pedestrians' all summer (from June until the end of August) so perfect for visiting the Glacier.

Les Deux Alpes Tennis Club have courts available for hire (10 Euros per hour), membership is not required.

Coast/Beach:

There is a lovely man-made beach on the mountain, it is like being in an infinity pool, perfect for children.

Travel:

Air: Grenoble (1hr 45), Lyon (2 hrs), Chambery (1hr 50), Geneva (2h 30)

There is public transport from the airports to Les Deux Alpes. We recommend Bens Bus from Grenoble Airport (£45 return).

The apartment is just across the road from the VFD bus terminal.

Road: From Calais (8 - 9 hrs).

We drive from the North East of England, via Eurotunnel, usually stop over in Calais, Reims or Troyes depending on the time. We can recommend stop overs if needed.

Distances:

30 minutes to La Grave

30 minutes Bourg d'Oisans

40 minutes to Alpe d'Huez (heli-transfer is also available in winter)

1 hour to Grenoble

1 hour to Serre Chevalier

1 hour 15 mins to Italy

5 hours to Nice.

Further Details:

There is a shortcut through the carpark directly onto the main street which gives access to the many shops, restaurants and bars.

Firstrax - Specialise in groups of 4 people max. They offer discounted ski passes when taken with courses.

Easiski - Fantastic teacher, private lessons and also small group lessons (maximum of 4), see www.easiski.com for details.

European Ski & Snowboard School - Good for group lessons and close to apartment.

Booking Notes:
Our English speaking representative will meet you on arrival, a key/security/damage deposit of 350 Euros in CASH will be taken (Our apartment manager will accept £350.00 in £'s if better for you. It will be returned to you on or shortly after departure providing that the apartment is left in the condition that it was found. Please advise us immediately if there are any problems on arrival or during your stay.
The apartment is strictly non-smoking and this includes the balcony.

Car Park Height restriction - VW Transporter Van fits just!!

Change over day is Saturday (although mid-week is available on request)
Arrival time: After 4pm
Departure time: Before 10am

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the apartment per week, not per person.
The apartment is also available for short stays (unfortunately not peak holiday weeks but we do try to be flexible especially around Christmas and New Year) - please contact us for a price.
Discounts are available for early or last minute bookings - please ask!
Prices are given in UK pounds unless stated.
A security/damage/key deposit is payable in CASH to our representative on arrival (350 Euros or 350 GBP Pounds).
Bed Linen is included.
Towels if required are 5 Euros per person (payable on arrival).
The apartment is bookable Saturday to Saturday, check-in is after 4pm.
Payments are to be made by BACS (this avoids paying additional fees) - most of our guests are happy with this.
We do have both a UK & French Bank Account so payment can be made in £'s or Euros.

A holding deposit of £200 is payable by BACS upon booking and the remaining balance to be paid by BACS two months before arrival - non-refundable unless we are able to re-let your booking.
A refundable security/key deposit of 350 Euros or £350.00 will be taken in CASH on arrival.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has recently been renovated and is clean, modern and comfortable. It is compact, but has everything needed for your perfect holiday! Outside: There is a private balcony where you can enjoy the stunning views of the mountains/town with a glass of Rose. The apartment is set back off the main road and is therefore very quiet. There are two communal grassed terraces on the Ground Floor where you can BBQ. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed Linen is included. Towels can be hired for a small charge (payable locally). Apartment is to be left in the condition found. Private covered parking space available. There is a height restriction on ramp up to car park though - A VW Transporter van fits (just!). Other: Private balcony with outstanding panoramic south-facing views with table and chairs.
