Peace perfect peace!

A perfect, cosy apartment for us to stay in whilst visiting family nearby. Barbara is a warm, friendly hostess who provides very comfortable accommodation for two. Everything we could possibly need was to hand and our top requirement of a comfortable bed and a powerful shower was met. The view from the apartment of Barbara's garden lends an air of peaceful elegance. Location for access is a definite plus.

What a find!

This wonderful apartment ticked all the boxes for myself and partner. I grew up in Guildford but have lived in Australia for over 40 years. I return frequently to Surrey as I have an elderly mother living in Guildford and many friends living in the area. Warwick Lodge is perfect for couples. It is spotlessly clean, has every amenity that you could want, a beautiful garden, a few minutes from the station, great local pub and Barbara and Barry are charming hosts. It was wonderful to have it as a base for our 2 weeks in Surrey and will certainly be back again.

Little Gem

Had a lovely week this apartment really is a little gem it's been 'under my nose' for ages as I am a frequent Surrey visitor.....and I've only just discovered it!!. For us it is the perfect location and has all you need [and a bit more].

Hosting from Barbara and Barry excellent, very friendly really felt at home here ..second visit already booked!

Immaculate and welcoming

We so enjoyed our short break at Warwick Lodge. Barbara and Barry could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The annexe was immaculate, very well equipped and full of nice, thoughtful touches. We can also recommend the Onslow Arms down the road for excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere. All in all a delightful break!

Special interest holidays:

The property is perfectly located for visiting many attractions in south east England. For sport enthusiasts, there are extensive walking and cycling possibilities around the nearby Surrey Hills as well as several excellent golf courses nearby. For those interested in history, properties including Hampton Court, Polesdon Lacey, Hatchlands and Windsor Castle are easily accessible and for keen gardeners there is the world famous RHS Gardens at Wisley (10 minutes).

Guildford town, with its Cathedral and the University of Surrey, is three miles away.

Portsmouth and Brighton are just an hour's drive away.

And when you need to wind down, there are two good pub/restaurants in the village and many others nearby.

Travel:

Gatwick and Heathrow airports are both 45 minutes drive away. The apartment is located approximately 1 mile from the A3 and 15 minutes from the M25. Clandon Station is 3 minutes walk. Trains from Clandon to London are via Wimbledon.
