Architect designed modern apartment with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean and Table Mountain.This 2 bedroom luxury apartment has an en suite bathroom and there is 2nd bathroom with shower. The layout is designed for an open casual lifestyle. The open plan kitchen with dishwasher and all appliances is directly linked to the dinning area and the living room. The living area and main bedroom benefit from air conditioning although the sea breeze can sometimes have a similiar effect. Sea Point offers a range of delighs for the visitor .There is the magnificent Pavilion swimming pool complex only 7 minute walk away with two children pools and a large pool with a diving pool. There are a numerous coffee shops and delis which make superb coffee and snacks close by, Cafe Neo being one of our favourites. The promenade along the sea front in front of the flat runs for a few kilometers and is used by joggers and walkers, especially in the morning and early evening.

The apartment was light, bright, secure and airy. The web site pictures do it justice. The apartment is well place for access to the 'hop on/hop off bus, the bus to central Cape Town and within easy and safe walking distance from a number of good restaurants. The promenade, opposite the apartment, was brilliant for strolling at any time of the day. The owner, Farrol, couldn't have been more helpful recommending places to visit with corresponding websites and helpful hints on transport in and around the area. He responded to our emails promptly and provided even more information over the telephone. I can thoroughly recommend this apartment.
The perfect retreat
This apartment more the lived up to our expectations. It is modern and very comfortable and is llterally yards from the Atlantic seaboard. Our reception was excellent and the owner's representative could not have been more helpful. The area has shops and restaurants in abundance. and Sea Point is only a 10 minute drive to the city centre and to the Waterfront complex. From our balcony we looked down to the sea and up to Table Mountain and Signal Hill. A car is necessary if one wants to visit the parks, the vineyards and the many attractions which are easily accessible from Cape Town. This was our 5th visit to South Africa and we are already planning to return hopefully to the same apartment in a year's time.

“When the opportunity arose to acquire this apartment a few years ago I did. It had not been touched for years and as an Architect, I completely refurbished it and renewed everything to a standard we would be pleased to live in all year round (air con and under floor heating ) .Over the last few years we have had fantastic family holidays using it as our base as we continue to explore Cape Town and the surrounding region. Cape Town is truly a tonic for the tired mind and body.”
Activity and Interests
There are numerous beaches in and around Cape Town. The nearest beach is opposite the apartment and is about 5 minutes walk.
Clifton with its four beaches is 10 minute drive with Camps Bay another 5 minutes beyond Clifton.
Cape Town airport is about 30 mins, major car rental firms at airport and in Sea Point. We also have a private taxi that we can recommend and details can be sent on request.
10 mins to the City centre and the Waterfront complex.
40 mins to drive to Stellenbosch & Franschhoek.
45 mins to Simonstown and the Boulders (Penguin beach).
Restaurants, supermarkets, banks, chemists, deli's along the the Main road near the apartment.

- Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and built in wardrobes and air conditioning unit. There is direct access to the balcony. Bedroom 2 with twin beds, which can be moved together ,built in wardrobes and ceiling fan.
- Outside: Balcony with table and chairs Utility Room: There is a washing machine within utility cupboard and if you don't want to bother with house work there is a laundry service which will collect and drop on the same day. Everything is returned ironed as requested .The receptionist /porter will arrange. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen is included and the flat is cleaned weekly with fresh linen provided. If more frequent required, this can be arranged.
