Greenala and Potato Barn were converted by ourselves a builder and architect, They are of the highest standard. Both barns have a large living area with the kitchen and living room combined for "social cooking", the living rooms have wood burners (with plenty of logs provided) to relax by after a hard day on the beach. Underfloor heating and unlimited hot water are included. About the Owner

Peter, my husband, and myself, Lucy, are an architect and builder partnership, choosing to move from Bristol in 2000, with our family, for a change in lifestyle. We both feel privileged to live in Pembrokeshire.

The Barafundle Barns were converted with the view of us living there one day when the children have left home. Both Barns have south facing frontage. We invariably eat outside on the terrace when doing the change-over- it is such a sun trap. We have used the Barns ourselves for numerous family gatherings and parties, and also on our own for a quiet cosy break. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay and love the coast and seascape.

We live just five miles away in Manorbier; Peter is a keen surfer.

The Barns are ideally situated for surfing, climbing, coasteering, kayaking and fishing;

Local surf breaks include Freshwater West, Manorbier and Broadhaven South plus many secret breaks for the more adventurous. surf courses and equipment hire are both available.

For families coasteering is a must, the local instructors are excellent, being able to adjust the level to suit all abilities.

Mackerel fishing trips leave from Tenby harbour in the summer, they are great fun and barbecued mackerel are fantastic. If you are looking for a more extreme angling experience, day trips can be arranged from Saundersfoot Harbour, the skippers know all the best spots and have all the right gear. Alternatively bring a rod and I'll tell you the best beach spots.

The cliffs between Stackpole Head and Freashwater West offer many recognised climbing routes so bring your gear.

Exploring the coast by sea from a kayak is breathtaking, there are so many caves and secret beaches to discover.

The coast is 500m as the crow flies, 1.5miles drive to Stackpole Quay then 500m walk along the coast path to Barafundle Bay. Manorbier bay is 3 miles drive east. Broadhaven South is 3 miles drive west. All local beaches can be walked to along the coast path starting from Stackpole Quay tea rooms.
