Knollsea is a modern chalet bungalow sleeping 8 in a quiet residential road in north Swanage. Well behaved children are welcome, sorry we don't take pets. Beaches, pubs and restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk away. Purbeck countryside and Jurassic coast to explore. Water sports for the family in season. Beautiful Studland beaches 10 minute car drive away. Bus stop nearby for Studland, Sandbanks and Bournemouth. Take a trip on the steam railway to Corfe Castle or you can walk or cycle there along the Purbeck Way. Swanage has restaurants, pubs, interesting shops and art galleries, a Victorian pier and stone quay with an open air fish bar in season. There is Durlston country park and castle. Swanage is a family orientated resort with something for all the family.

We moved to Swanage four years ago and it has taken most of this time to get the house round to how it is today. It has been a challenge but we are now enjoying this beautiful part of Dorset where we live.

A delightful holiday rental

A lovely, large chalet type bungalow, spotlessly clean throughout with every self catering requirement met. With three of the 4 bedrooms enjoying "en suite" facilities we were spoilt for bathroom choices and with all the bedrooms having its own tv, everybody's choice was available! Particularly enjoyed the long table area in the lounge - all 7 of us could eat together without pressure; particularly nice with the patio doors opened onto the garden. Barbecues on the patio on 4 evenings - outside furniture enabled outside meals and the summer house and garden area is secure and safe for our 6 year old and twin 3 year old grand daughters! Located some 10/15 minutes away from Swanage beach - the car never left its more than adequate parking area! What was particularly impressive was the personal welcome we received from the owner upon our arrival.

A great weeks holiday - we are booked again for next year.

Very nice clean property with plenty of space

We stayed in the property over the Early May Bank Holiday in 2016. The house was very clean and well maintained.

We took the "twins" option for bedroom 3 giving us 2x twins, 2x doubles and the lounge looked to have a sofa bed providing extra space. There's off street parking for atleast 3 cars.

Bedroom 1 (double) was access friendly with a nice wet room and a sink that can be raised and lowered, so if anyone has mobility issues there's step free access to the ground floor. The "Garden and summer house" picture does not do the back enough justice. There's a nice lawn for relaxing or letting children be themselves. Each room had a TV so no fighting over who's watching which channel either.

There's plenty of fridge / freezer space for families on a longer stay as well as an oven, combi microwave and gas hob.

We love Swanage for it's quaintness and that it has retained it's charm and is not too commercialized. We both visited Swanage as children and have great fun with our family now when they come to visit us, kayaking,mountain biking,hiking,beach hut parties,barbecues on the beach(enjoyed by the 96 year old) and picnicking with or away from the crowds.We love the countryside,coastal walks,beaches,wildlife,pubs! and restaurants.Swanage is popular with all members of our family.

We will then send you a booking form to fill in and return with a 25% deposit to secure booking. The balance is required 8 weeks before holiday commences. If you need to cancel we will try to re-let your week. If this is possible your money will be refunded. If we are unable to re-let your week then we are unable to offer a refund. Cancellation insurance is recommended. There is also a £200 damages deposit which is payable with the balance payment and is refunded after a successful inspection of the property at the end of your stay.

Changeover day is Saturday, arrival time is 4pm and departure time is 10am.

We like the 20 minute walk to town in all weathers all year round and also being close to the footpath to Ballard Down,Studland,Old Harry Rocks and Corfe Castle.Knollsea is our home and we enjoy the family visiting because the bungalow having ensuites in three of the rooms and tv's in all bedrooms we can get a away from each other if need be! you can also escape to the summerhouse it can be a den or a retreat.Parking is relaxed here as well with driveway parking for 4 cars and the road is usually quiet.We like living on a quiet residential road.
