This is a beautifully presented, luxury first floor apartment sleeping four people comfortably, with a double sofa bed in the lounge for two additional people. The accommodation comprises of -

Master bedroom, with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and 2 large chest of drawers, hairdryer, TV and DVD and an en-suite shower room.

The second bedroom has twin beds, large wardrobe and chest of drawers.

The large bathroom has a bath with shower over and an airer.

The light and airy lounge has a double sofa-bed, second large leather sofa and TV with BT TV & DVD player. There is a small selection of family games & cards. French windows with Juliet balcony, give stunning views of Fistral Beach and the golf course.

The modern fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar, dishwasher, washer-dryer, fridge/freezer,Bosch electric oven with gas hob and all modern appliances including iron & ironing board, food processor, toaster, microwave oven. It is also fully equipped with a wide range of cutlery, glasses, crockery, baking dishes and pans. Basic condiments & sugar are provided as well as a welcome pack with tea, coffee milk & sugar. Digital Radio.

Internet access available.

Bed linen is provided and all beds are made up upon arrival. Bath and hand towels are supplied, as well as tea towels and oven gloves. These are not to be used outside the apartment, so please bring your own beach towels.

This apartment benefits from one allocated parking space, situated off street, with a parking permit provided upon arrival and use of the private communal gardens and courtyard within this exclusive development.

Our housekeeper, Mary will meet you upon arrival with the keys.

The apartment is situated within 5 - 10 minutes walk of Fistral Beach and 15 - 20 minutes walk from the main town, and 10 minutes walk to Crantock Beach (via the foot ferry). Suitable for families or couples only. No smoking or pets.

Why Jane Clark chose Newquay & St Austell area

We have always wanted a property close to the sea and have been fortunate enough to find our ideal apartment and look forward to spending as much time there as possible. We chose it, as Newquay is an excellent holiday location with lots to see and do in the area, great surfing, good access to shops and a wide choice of pubs, bars and restaurants with good public transport links! The apartment has lovely views of the sea, it is close enough to the centre of town to walk, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

The apartment is situated within 5 minutes walk of Fistral Beach and 10-15 minutes walk from the main town, and 10 minutes walk to Crantock Beach (via the foot ferry). Newquay's other beaches are a short drive away.

The Pentire Headland is a 5 minute walk away.

Newquay Airport is 6 -7 miles away and takes 15/20 minutes by car.

Newquay Train Station is 1.5 miles.

Town Bus station - 15 minutes walk.

Local bus 558 runs into town centre, nearest stop is 3 minutes walk.

Further Details:

Newquay is perfectly situated for easy days out to Lands End, the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St. Ives and The Tate, Truro’s cathedral and shopping and Falmouth with the Maritime Museum and Art Gallery. There are also many family/children’s attractions including Flambards, Crealy and Dairyland Farm World.

Closer to home there is Newquay Zoo, set in sub-tropical lakeside gardens. As well as 130 different animal species there is the Tarzan trail, play area, rainforest exhibit and much more! The Blue Reef Aquarium, indoor swimming pools with slides, golf and pitch ‘n putt offer other activities.

Dining out is easy with a huge selection of bars, brassieres and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. If you are able to book ahead, the Lewinnick Lodge, within walking distance on the Pentire Headland has superb food, locally sourced and stunning Atlantic views.

Celebratory chefs, Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein, both have restaurants within easy reach. Jamie’s ‘Fifteen’ is right on the beach front at Watergate Bay and Rick stein has several restaurants and cafes in Padstow, which is a 40 minute drive away. Booking is strongly recommended for both.

Local information & Amenities

• The nearest convenience store is on Pentire Avenue; about 5 minutes’ walk back towards town.

• The nearest supermarkets are Sainsburys and Asda in the town centre and there’s a Morrisons and Lidl on the outskirts of town near Treloggan.

• You can catch a bus into town from the bus stop outside the Pentire Hotel, which is 3 minutes up the road towards the headland.

• There is a Pitch and Putt at the top of the road towards the headland.

• If you want to go to Crantock Beach on foot there is a foot ferry/bridge across to the beach via the Fern Pit Cafe, Riverside Crescent which also does a very good breakfast and snacks. It is open from May to September.

A welcome booklet is provided in the apartment, which details all local amenities, emergency services and a guide to local eating places.

Very nice apartment with parking in a good location

We had no problem locating the apartment which is very nicely set in well landscaped gardens. Tea and biscuits were waiting for us to make a cuppa when we arrived.

The apartment has everything one needs when on holiday, everything is provided, most importantly to us it is clean, nicely decorated and well maintained with parking. There are views of Fistral beach from the lounge and bedroom two. Bedroom one also has sea and garden views. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and towels are good quality. Very pleasant, quiet and private. Now we have found this apartment we hope to return.

Less than a ten minute walk took us onto Fistral Beach. A short walk or drive past the apartment takes you to the headland which overlooks Crantock beach and in itself offers excellent views, a beautiful scenic walk, a well placed restaurant and a putting green.

If you rent this apartment I am sure you will not be disappointed

Lovely apartment convenient to Fistral Beach

Lovely, clean, convenient first floor apartment near Fistral Beach with all the home comforts you could need - dishwasher, microwave, washer/drier... Nice view of the beach from the living room window. We had a super time in Cornwall and the location of this apartment offered good access to places like Penzance, St Ives, Land's End, the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Would definitely recommend!

A 25% deposit is required to secure the booking, which can be paid by cheque (booking confirmed when cleared), bank transfer or directly through Owners Direct with a debit or credit card. The balance plus a security deposit of £100 per week is required 8 weeks before the arrival date. A 10% reduction is available to couples who wish to book and only use one bedroom.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is on a Saturday.
Arrivals after 15.00 and check out time is 10.00am on day of departure.

Notes on prices:
During High Season the apartment is only available for full weeks. At other times the apartment is available for short midweek breaks or long weekends.
