Fabulous four bedroom New Town flat in Edinburgh city centre which sleeps up to eight people with double beds in each of the bedrooms. The property boasts sanded wooden floorboards throughout, except for flagstones in one of the bedrooms.

It is ideally located to explore this historic City and is within walking distance of most of the popular Edinburgh attractions including Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Palace as well as being a two minute walk from the York Place Tram terminal. It is also located just off Broughton Street which has a variety of independent bars and restaurants to choose from offering you a comfortable and well serviced haven to explore the City.

Great location

Walking distance to everything. Rioms were great but bathroom needs updating. In details when renting please advise about stairs because if you have a handicapped person like we did we could been better prepared or made another choice.

A brilliant location with everything on hand either within a short walk or tram or bus

The minor drawbacks were outweighed by the position. As mentioned in a previous review there is only one toilet and the showers aren't great but we would be happy to stay there again.

Accommodation clean, good standard, very central. only comment would be to advise future travellers if 8 people staying in the apartment (full occupency) there is only one toilet. Overall good accommodation and would stay again.

Tranquilo y bien situado.

La llegada apartamento desde el aeropuerto es muy fácil solo hay que coger el tranvía hasta la última parada y después andar unos 3 minutos, está al lado.

En la zona hay restaurantes y cafés donde cenar o desayunar, el barrio es muy tranquilo y está en pleno centro.

El apartamento estaba limpio y está muy bien situado, es cómo se ve en las fotos, las camas son muy cómodas y las habitaciones amplias.

En cuanto a los baños, en realidad solo hay un baño con WC, a parte de este, hay una bañera con lavabo y una ducha (separadas) pero la ducha es muy pequeña, a nosotros no nos hizo servicio pero con un poco de organización no es un problema.

Tiene wifi y funciona bien, en general nosotros quedamos muy contentos.

La hora de entrada es a partir de las 15:00, por lo que si planeáis llegar antes preguntarle a la agencia si podéis hacer el checking antes porque la consigna de la estación de tren es muy cara.

Space, quiet, good location

Very nice apartment with four nice bedrooms and also good kitchen space and living room. It was light, an effect especially from the light, wooden floors which we, coming from Sweden appreciated. We were four friends staying in the apartment for a long weekend with trips during the days for whisky testing, football game, sightseeing etc. After finding out where the bus and tram lines stopped we found it very good located. There were plenty of pubs, small restaurants and also a small shop close to the apartment.

Everyone commented that the beds were very good! All of us slept very good and it was quiet, relatively quiet also from Friday to Saturday.

The apartment was clean at arrival and it was easy to sort out some questions about the showers with the agency.

We would recommend the apartment for similar stays!

Coast/Beach:

There are beautiful beaches located within a half hour drive from Edinburgh, including Cramond to the North of the City and Yellowcraig, Gullane and North Berwick beaches to the East of the City.

Travel:

Edinburgh Airport is located 25 minutes away by car from the property. Glasgow International Airport is located around an hour from Edinburgh.

Rosyth ferry terminal is located across the Forth Road Bridge from Edinburgh, around 40 minutes from the property.

Distances:

There are a number of places of interest within Edinburgh, the majority easily within walking distance such as Edinburgh Castle, the Observatory, Carlton Hill, Dynamic Earth, Arthur’s Seat, Holyrood Palace.

Other places of interest out with Edinburgh include Roslin, featuring in the Da Vinci Code, located to the South of Edinburgh and within 40 minutes drive. As well as all traditional coastal villages such as Aberlady, or across the Forth Road Bridge, the Kingdom of Fife.

Further Details:

There are excellent amenities on the doorstep, including restaurants, cafés, grocery shops and bars along Broughton Road, a two minute walk from the property.
