About the Owner

James and I live in Northern Ireland. We have 2 grown up children. I adore cooking and am a caterer by profession. We run a small bed and breakfast here in Northern Ireland and love to use local produce as much as possible. We have 2 self catering properties in France. One is in Brittany and one is just south of the Loire so we love to visit France and search for new recipe ideas and try all the delicious food and wine there.

From the Owner

We moved here shortly after we were married and as our family expanded so did the house. Now the family have all moved away so we decided to let others share our home and enjoy the area as well. Northern Ireland is enjoying quite a revival and there are heaps of things to do and see from the Giants Causeway in the north to the Mountains of Mourne in the south. What is so great about Northern ireland is the fact that nowhere is too far away. We are also close to the railway line so you can just jump on the train and even be in Dublin in 2 hours. There are 7 golf courses within 5 miles of the property and the coastal path is delightful for the walkers and cyclists. We have a couple of bicycles here for those who want to go for a little exercise. Close to Belfast, it's the ideal location

The new Titanic Experience opened in 2012 and it is well worth a visit, again it is only a train ride away.
