Large, unique, spacious luxury villa in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote - Located in the quiet and most exclusive residential area of Ciudad Jardin in Costa Teguise.

One of the very best villa available, unique and special property with lots of character and huge wow factor and that's why its called villa Palacial. Villa Palacial is a magnificent top end large luxury villa located in the quiet and most exclusive residential area of Ciudad Jardin (Garden City) in Costa Teguise with easy access to Arrecife airport(10-15 drive) and within 5 minutes drive of the Golden Beach and resort facilities including the excellent selection of restaurants, shops and supermarkets Costa Teguise has to offer.

Outside the Villa:

The villa stands on its own extensive landscaped grounds (a large elevated 2500 meters square plot) and benefits from a large roof top terrace offering seriously breath-taking views of the sea and mountains. The gardens contain a 'wow factor' of an enormous heated pool(the largest in Lanzarote), a BBQ deck, large pergola shaded secluded dining relaxation area all surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and a immense and beautifully patterned stone wall with arched enclaves which grants you total privacy. Arched enclaves have wall mounted lights, add that to the large heated pool and its own beautiful pool lights - you can imagine that the enjoyment of this Villa does not end when the sun goes down! It truly is a wonderful sight in the night!

Inside the Villa:

With a build size of 364 m2, space is not an issue in this 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Villa. Inside is all luxury. The modern 'chef's kitchen' is a cook's delight. The spacious sunken lounge has an atrium roof, with three extra -large double bedrooms around the elevated gallery. The three bedrooms upstairs each have wall mounted TVs for your enjoyment with access to entertainment and movie channels. The bedrooms also have access to south-facing terraces with sea and mountain views.

The family bathroom upstairs is of the highest quality featuring a high quality bath, a jacuzzi(not available for guest use) and a quality walk-in shower enclosure.

Downstairs there is a separate dining area gorgeously furnished, which includes a large dining table as well as a fourth double bedroom which has its own access to one of the 2 bathrooms, the bathroom has an elegant large walk in double shower.

In summary, the villa is simply stunning!! From the wonderful and beautifully lit lounge, through the designer kitchen and luxury bathrooms, to the extensive landscaped grounds and pool with memorable views to the sea and mountains, the property oozes quality and sophistication. You will not find another Villa like this on the Island! The design is unique, the pool is unique and the size is unique.

Advanced Security System

Villa has an ID entry system as well as an advanced alarm system with photo detectors for added security.Front, rear, downstairs bedroom doors have motion sensitive light entry system and 3 spot lights on the roof make it look wonderful at night. This villa is unique and there is no other villa of its type in the whole of Lanzarote.

Welcome pack provided-bottled water, juice, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, milk.) Free weekly Interior cleaning service. Swimming pool and garden serviced weekly. Tea towels,bath towels and pool towels are supplied free of charge.

Why DR ALEX IBHADON chose Costa Teguise - Teguise

I used to own a property in Cyprus and wanted another Villa in the Sun. I looked initially in the Costa del Sol area in Spain; however I didn't find anything that caught my eye. A friend mentioned to me that Lanzarote was a beautiful Island which had good all year weather, which mainland Spain does not. On my first trip I saw this Villa and made an offer instantly. It was like nothing I'd seen in over a year of looking and ticked all my boxes. Sea views, mountain views, massive plot size, 4 bed 2 bath, spacious, great pool, private, easy access and close to the beautiful beaches. My eldest son (29) describes it as having a 'wow factor'; it really does have that feel, yet at the same time it’s a very welcoming Villa situated in the quiet and most exclusive residential area in Costa Teguise.

What makes this villa unique

The Villa is very spacious (364m2 built) and has an unusual and unique architecture.Villa has a huge 'wow' factor is absolutely ideal for large families, weddings, birthdays and the other big occasions.

In addition to the large, stunning heated pool (p.s you will not see another pool like this in the area) the property benefits from a spacious and unique lounge with an atrium roof that bring in rays of the Canary Island sun into the Villa. A chef’s kitchen is a delight for the chefs among you (the previous owner owned a restaurant on the Island and modelled the kitchen on his own professional culinary experience). There is space outside and around the Villa to park up to 10 cars. The Villa itself is located in the most exclusive residential area of Ciudad Jardin in Costa Teguise - the privacy you have is beautiful. Wall lights, security cameras and detectors. Two upstairs room terraces offering glorious sea and mountain views. Has the largest pool in a residential villa in Costa teguise and the greatest benefit is the space -lots of it. Heating in pool - it was very cold - I would suggest it needs to be heated at least a week in advance.

We had a fantastic time and everyone made good use of the pool, the weather was also fantastic. It has a really homely feel and we were all able to relax immediately.



We had a power cut this morning so were not able to wash the floors before we left but tried to leave it in the standard we found it. we were very sad to leave today.

My Brother had the large bedroom and heard the dog barking most nights but however we did not in the other two rooms, we met the dog at the gate on our walks into town and he was very friendly, maybe he is just lonely at night time!



We enjoyed staying at your Villa which was perfect for our holiday needs, the Lady,s made very good use of your excellent swimming pool and the Jacuzzi looked amazing unfortunately

no one ventured in.

There is a lovely and sturdy traditional canarian BBQ for the meat feasting occasion, behind the BBQ stands a pergola for shade when too hot, situated underneath the pergola are a set of benches with a wooden outdoor fixed table where you can eat outside. Utility Room: Two utility rooms -washing machine, tumble dryer, exercise bike, iron, ironing board, cleaning kits, pool pole and net, clothes dryer stand. The utility rooms also house 6 plastic chairs, 6 steel frame pool chairs and 8 beach chairs Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath and tea towels are provided free of charge. Villa is cleaned before guests arrive. The pool is cleaned on Wednesdays of every week. Other: Two utility rooms, dining room equipped with a large 51 inch Samsung plasma TV, two 6 seater dinners,DVD player, separate recliner Utility rooms houses 6 plastic,6 steel frame pool, 8 beach chairs, washing machine, ironing boards and an exercise bike.

Beautiful villa, in a great location.

I stayed here in November and will be staying again in the future as this villa is truly palacial. It's endless character and charm throughout really made me feel a world away from day to day city life and was much needed.

I particularly loved the chef's kitchen with the fabulous stove, great for cooking family meals. In November it is still lovely and warm so we were able to swim in the good sized pool for a villa.

The entire property is very secure and private so we felt very safe and were very happy that we were not overlooked.

It is located in a very ideal spot as the Las Cucharas beach was just 5 minutes in the car or a 15 minute walk. Our local shop was also only about a 7 minute walk down the road. I will say, the pictures do not do full justice for this beautiful and extremely spacious villa. This made it an even more lovely surprise when we opened the door to find this true gem, I can't wait to visit again in the future.

A wonderful villa full of character and warmth

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Villa Pallacial.

Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if required and plenty of areas for families to sit together; especially beside the fantastic pool which Alex has recently had reduced in depth which suited my niece who wanted to build her confidence in water. Needless to say the kids were in the pool everyday and thoroughly enjoyed their time.

Like other reviewers we also sat around the dining area for any evening tv/movies as the rear projection tv screen in the living room is out of the ark now technology wise and a black and white grainy image was best we could fine tune. We tried to hook up the DVD so we could have a family cinema night all snuggled in on the vast sofa.....sadly picture was good but this time no sound. Shame as the lounge area would have been nicer to settle into on an evening but the kitchen and dining area was more than adequate. I'm sure Alex will look at getting an updated TV for the lounge that works in due course.

As some other guests have said yes there are the occasional dogs barking but this is a residential street and last time I looked our UK neighbours are allowed to have dogs also, so these odd barks or Cockeralls heralding the dawn of a new day were not a nuisance; we found the neighbourhood to be quiet and very secure.

Perfect central location for all the islands attractions and a nice walk (15min to closest beach Playa Bastion with a fab restaurant) or 30min walk into Costa Teguise itself.

Off road parking was a bonus.

Though I adore cooking I cant say much about the kitchen as we ate out most days/nights, though a pool of water was found each morning near fridge and freezer so these appliances could be looked at being replaced. As others mention the dishwasher badly needs replaced (top drawer falls off, if you open bottom drawer be sure to hold onto dishwasher at the top otherwise it tips) but you know it did the job we needed for the odd plate and cup but probably would have driven us mad if doing a full plates, pots and pans wash.

Would we come back to Villa Pallacial; we most definitely would for the space, comfort, the pool, location and security of the property.

Owner's Response: Thanks Gavin I am pleased that you and family enjoyed your stay in villa Palacial (Palatial). I note your observation regarding the very large TV in the second lounge-one of the 5 TVs in the villa. This huge TV has an inbuilt cinema effect functionality, with impressive sound system. We will attempt to fix foggy pictures(I thought this was due to the poor reception brough about by the heavy rain in Lanzarote in July), but if unsuccessful, will replace with a new TV in September, although 5 TVs are not really needed I guess. My priority is to ensure that guests enjoy their stay in the villa and the villa management work hard to achieve this.

Beautiful villa, wonderful pool and surroundings.

Just returned from 2 week stay at Villa Palacial. Party of 8 for 1 week then 6 for second week.

We all had a great holiday, children loved the very large pool whilst the adults enjoyed relaxing on the loungers.

Villa and garden very spacious, secure and private.

Well equipped kitchen if cooking but we ate out most days.

Always plenty of hot water for all to shower.

Nice walk to bars, restaurants and beach or short taxi ride.

The large TV in lounge requires attention and not watchable which was a shame but we all sat in the dining area where the TV picture was perfect.

Will certainly be visiting the villa again.

Villa was impressive but the hidden extras wasn't

The pool was lovely but as stated in advert largest heated pool , but if you want this to be heated yes you can at an extra cost which is sent to you after you have already paid your balance in full by the owner not owners direct . Also if the gas runs out in the kitchen while you are there you have to pay for the replacement which is not stated in the advert. ALso air conditioning has to be paid at a extra cost , We were not aloud to use the Jacuzzi it was stated in the paperwork in the welcome pack when we arrived. The exercise room was just a exercise bike ,

Owner's Response: This reviews derives from blackmail and comes after decision by owner to refuse the request (via many text messages from Lisa) for compensation for bogus complaints. These complaints were dismissed by Owners Direct, and consequently, Lisa decided to retaliate by sending in a malicious review! Notice that Lisa(guest) says'villa is impressive' but took issues with the so called 'hidden extras' which she claims were not provided on the site-this is frankly nonsense!. Pool heating, over stay, ac use are optional extras and are not free of charge. No guest is forced to over stay in villa or use ac-if these are required, they must be paid for-see notes below from the web site on optional charges - the so called 'hidden extras'-that Lisa referred to in her review. BOOKING NOTES "If pool heating is required, a charge of £70 for the week is applicable regardless of group size. Any over stay is charged at £35/hr and needs advanced confirmation. Air conditioning is charged at £35/room/ week(3 rooms have split ac units) . Jacuzzi is only available by prior arrangement and is £50/week - to cover water use due to very large size, otherwise not available to guests". 'AC USE, POOL HEATING AND OVER STAY ARE ADDITIONAL CHARGES IF REQUIRED'. It is either that Lisa did not read the information on the web site or failed to understand them if she did read them-she should have asked for someone to help her understand basic information. Is it not duplicitous to say villa is 'impressive' and then rate same villa 1 * because of so called lack of information on optional extras? Web site says categorically that Villa does NOT have a fitness or games room! This is the villa a guest says 'feels like the Beckhams'! Same villa a guest who stayed in villa immediately after Lisa rated 5*? This response is because OD suggested a response was necessary, otherwise, would not have responded to this nonsense. Villa commands a 'wow' factor any day. A party of 8 from Liverpool checked into villa on the 1st of July -they could hardly contain their excitement when the front door to villa was opened for them-its an impressive piece of property and deserves guests who are able to appreciate quality, value and read information on rental conditions and prices. Good to know that a guest read this review yesterday(4th of July), discounted it for what it is and booked the villa right away. Apologies for lengthy response!. OWNER .

Week In Costa Teguise

We had an enjoyable week. Villa suited our needs. Great pool and terrace. Impressive property overall, if a little dated. Good security system. Very slow internet (unsure if this is an on-site or off-site issue). Dishwasher needs a service/repair. Otherwise fine.

Coast/Beach:

Above all the major draw of Costa Teguise are the beaches. There are four beaches in Costa Teguise, the main one, set in a beautiful cove is Las Cucharas; offering fine golden sand, sun loungers and parasols to rent. This beach is ideal for families and also offers facilities for Windsurfing and Diving. There are a number of beach front cafes and restaurants where you can eat on the shady terraces. The villa is roughly a 20 minute walk from Las Cucharas beach (5 minutes in the car)

Travel:

Arrecife airport is 15 min drive from villa. Supermarkets, beach, restaurants, schools, amenities are all within walking distance of the villa and a car is not essential, but recommended especially if you do not like walking.

The place is a jogger's paradise!

Distances:

Villa is 15 minute drive from Arrecife airport, 20-25 min walk (5 minute drive) to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, 10 min walk to the international school and 15 walk to the banks. Many supermarkets - including the Spa, Supermacado along Crotos Avenue/Street, and many more in Playa Bastian are all within walking distance of villa. If you like walking, then we do not recommend a car at all.It is actually better to take one of the many footpaths available instead of walking on main roads.

Further Details:

One of the great appeals of Costa Teguise is its recreational facilities which run from a large variety of water activities to the golf course and water park. You'll find several windsurfing schools along the Cucharas Beach and Jablillo Avenue.

Sporting and cultural events in Costa Teguise have multiplied during the last years. Qualifiers for the PWA Windsurfing World Championship at Cucharas Beach in June, the Costa Music Festival in September, the Brazilian Music Festival in June, are among the many events that take place here.

In addition to the beaches you should also visit the Pueblo Marinero (fishing village) which is a cluster of typical Canary buildings as conceived by the artist, César Manrique. Restaurants, pubs and shops, as well as a market held every Friday from 19:00 hours, can be found there.

Within a 20 min walk is the main Costa Teguise Resort which has all the amenities you need and more. The resort has been sympathetically built offering a lovely sea front promenade and a number of Plaza’s such as Pueblo Marinero square. Every Friday evening form 6pm Pueblo Marinero comes alive with a small market which goes on late in evening.

Costa Teguise has a wide variety restaurants ranging from Canarian to British styles, catering for everyone’s needs.

The supermarkets do offer a great selection in foods (there is a supermarket close by the Villa - 10 mins walk) generally this offers a good range of local and imported products.

Other activates on offer in Costa Teguise are cycling, golf, running and walking. There is an 18 hole golf course located up on the road to Tahiche and a number of walking/running tracks which meander through out Costa Teguise.

Lanzarote’s only Water Park is located right next to the golf course and gives a great family day out this is open from 1st April to 30th October.

You do not need a car to shops, restaurants, banks etc - simply walk by taking the many footpaths available instead of main streets.

NOTES ON PRICES
The prices quoted are a party size of 4 ADULTS. The minimum rental for a party of 6 ADULTS is £1500; 8 ADULTS is £1800 and 10 ADULTS is £2500/week. Please note that babies and children under 8 are not charged. If pool heating is required, a charge of £70 for the week is applicable regardless of group size. Any over stay beyond 10am is charged at £35/hr and needs advanced confirmation. Air conditioning is charged at £35/room/ week(3 rooms have split ac units) and exit clean is £65. Cot and high chair hire is £16 each if required. Jacuzzi is only available by prior arrangement and is £50/week - to cover water use due to very large size, otherwise not available to guests. This villa does not have a games or fitness room, but there is an exercise bike to use if required. There are 5 TVs in villa, 3 in bedrooms and 2 in lounge.

Tumble dryer moved to basement as not needed in a warm and breezy climate-clothes dry easily and quickly.

Wifi is provided free of charge but if not working, guests can instead rent wifi from Wifivov.com and pick up from Arrecife airport. Details in the information pack which is sent to all guests after reservation.

We require a deposit of 25% to secure your booking, the balance is to be paid 4 weeks prior to departure. A refundable breakage deposit of £150 applies to all bookings.

AC USE, POOL HEATING AND OVER STAY ARE ADDITIONAL CHARGES IF REQUIRED. EXIT CLEAN IS A MANDATORY CHARGE


Changeover Day:
Guests are to arrive villa as from 2pm on day of arrival and depart not later than 10 am on day of departure. Any over stay is charged at £35/hr and subject to agreement of Villa Manager. HOME-AWAY CHARGE GUESTS A SERVICE FEE-this is included in the quote sent to guests by web site.

No cancellations are accepted after booking, except dates already reserved are booked by another traveller in which case, 75% of total payment already made will be refunded-PLEASE NOTE!!!
