Tirylan comes with fantastic views in a quiet secluded country location, making it ideal for that relaxing country get-away. With a private farm lane from the main road, you can enjoy this peaceful rural retreat in guaranteed peace. The grounds and woodlands are home to an abundance of wildlife including birds of prey, deer and not forgetting it's own trout stream. Enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer. Whether it's adventuring in the Brecon Beacons National Park, visiting the National Botanical Gardens, exploring the neighbouring heritage sites or just relaxing in the boutique town of Llandeilo, you're just 15 minutes from the M4 Motorway. During a 2 year build project, the barns were converted by 2013 using traditional techniques and materials. Together with exceptional eco-credentials, the builds were nominated for the Carmarthenshire Building Control's "Built In Quality" awards.

My name is Jason, I work as an Independent IT Manager. I'm a techie nerd and enjoy keeping fit. My wife, Elin, has had 3 lead roles in London's West End as a professional soprano. We started this holiday let as a small family venture in August 2012 after a tough 2 year family run build. We love Llandeilo's quirkiness and live in a neighbouring town with our 4 young kids.

I saw the property advertised in 2002 and it needed a lot of work. I viewed it as a good investment and a future project. One of the two barns was already converted but the barn in the pictures was converted 2011/2012 and has been nominated by Carmarthenshire Building Control for the 2012 "Built in Quality" awards. Ten years ago, I walked into the field facing the Towy valley with the previous owner and the view knocked me off my feet. I made an offer before leaving, the view still stops me in my tracks today.

From the Owner

The main outside area is all South facing. The views are absolutely stunning with 35 acres of land / woodland to explore (that's roughly 20 UEFA Champions League Football Pitches). This is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer and birds of prey. Also, the bottom of the land is bordered with a trout stream.
