The village of La Cala de Mijas is a wonderful location for a family holiday. The apartment is a 3 minute walk from a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars and a 5 minute walk to a number of shops including a "SuperSol" supermarket, a bakery and hair salon. On the outskirts of the village is the Costa del Sol racecourse known as the "Hipodromo" and is great night out for all the family. And of course the apartment is ideally located within 10 minutes of over 8 top class golf courses, a haven for all you golf lovers! For the children, apart from the swimming pools and beach, there is a playground and a seated area for parents to relax and have a coffee/drinks, horse riding 10 minutes away and virtually every water sport you can think of.

Outside: Large terrace with table and chairs, sun loungers and direct access to the gardens and swimming pool plus children's pool. Utility Room: The kitchen opens to the utility room where you will find the washing machine, iron and iron board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning service prior to your arrival and all linen/towels( except beach towels) provided. Any additional cleaning services can be made available on request. Other: Fixed secure safe for passports and valuables. In the underground car park you have a car parking space available. great stay in La Cala

This is our second year running at this fabulous apartment. Right on the beach, a few minutes stroll into La Cala where there is everything you need. The owner responds at once to any requests or problems.

Very clean with all you could possibly require for a great time.

Fantastic beach front apartment

A beautiful spotless clean well equipped apartment. Everything you could want. The location is fabulous! My husband and I were attending a wedding in la Cala, rosemary was amazing organising out transfers to and from the airport and also hair appointment for the wedding.

My daughter and baby granddaughter joined us for a few days and loved the apartment and location

Fantastic ground floor apartment in an amazing location

We stayed here for 6 nights in May 2017, with my wife and 2 children (aged 7 and 4). The 2 bed ground floor apartment was perfect for us. 2 large bedrooms, and a lot of living space (spacious lounge/diner, patio area with glass front that can be fully opened, and a small private garden with 2 loungers). The apartment was very comfortable with a great kitchen, and very clean. It really has everything that you need.

The best bit about the property though is its location and outside space. From the private garden you are about 20 steps away from the 2 pools (small childrens pool which our kids loved splashing about in). The gardens around the pool are great, with lots of space, and they are beautifully kept. At the bottom of the gardens around the pool there is a security gate that gives you direct access to the beach promenade and the beach itself. You can walk into the centre of La Cala along the promenade in less than 5 minutes, and there are beach bars dotted all along the promenade in both directions. The promenade is great, and stretches from La Cala almost as fair as CaboPino. Great for a morning or evening walk, or even a jog which I enjoyed one morning. I am not sure exactly how far the promenade stretches, but I ran 6 miles (3 miles from the property towards CaboPino and back) and the entire stretch hugged the beach and is very scenic (with beach bar every few hundred metres).

We did have one issue when we arrived, in that the Air Con was not working. However, one quick email to the owner and this was sorted in hours.

Overall, fantastic property in a fantastic location. La Cala is also a great little resort. Loads of places to eat and drink, playgrounds doted along the beach, and it has a great family atmosphere. It is also very picturesque, without any high rise apartment blocks etc.

Perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

This apt was all about location on the beach which was brilliant and the boardwalk for walking .The apt was spacious and spotless and would highly recommend to couples and young families. Lovely restaurants , great beach bars , the village has everything for an enjoyable holiday.

The perfect getaway!

I recently stayed here with a group of friends and had the most fabulous time! The apartment is ideally situated - less than a 10 minute walk from a great selection of of restaurants and pubs. The onsite facilities were perfect, a large pool which we often had to ourselves, and the beach was a stones throw away! The apartment was spotless, and the decor was stunning! Would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location, suitable for families, couples or friends!
