The village of La Cala de Mijas is a wonderful location for a family holiday. The apartment is a 3 minute walk from a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars and a 5 minute walk to a number of shops including a "SuperSol" supermarket, a bakery and hair salon. On the outskirts of the village is the Costa del Sol racecourse known as the "Hipodromo" and is great night out for all the family. And of course the apartment is ideally located within 10 minutes of over 8 top class golf courses, a haven for all you golf lovers! For the children, apart from the swimming pools and beach, there is a playground and a seated area for parents to relax and have a coffee/drinks, horse riding 10 minutes away and virtually every water sport you can think of.

Fantastic beach front location

We have been going to the La Cala area for the last 15 years, this was the first time in this apartment but it certainly won't be the last, everything from the initial booking to arrival went like clockwork, Rosemarie was a pleasure to deal with. The apartment is very well equipped, very comfortable and in a fantastic location being able to walk to all the restaurants and bars in La Cala. Will be back next year thank you Rosemarie.

A wonderful apartment in a great location on the beach. The complex had a lovely feel to it with a beautiful fish pond / gardens and also a spacious pool. It was very private and secure and made for a lovely relaxing holiday.

The apartment was perfect. Big, clean, from one step to the beach, and from the own swimming pool. The village is small, but very nice, full off restaurants. I really recommend this apartment, for sure we will repeat.

First Class Apartment

First stay at this apartment with a family of four. Beachfront location and sits on the ground floor of the complex with lovely ocean view from the patio. Well equipped and modern with everything you will need. Good air con if you need it. Ideally located near to town with a short walk to resteraunts. Although you don't need a car, underground parking if you have one. Apartment has two sun loungers and two chairs to take down to pool area which is immaculate and pool extremely clean. Would visit again.

I wanted a property on the beach front close to a village with all amenities and an airport close by.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Malaga International Airport is Only 20 minutes from La Cala de Mijas. We also provide an airport transfer service for our clients and can be arranged at time of booking . You also have the train from Malaga Airport to Fuengirola and bus from there to La Cala. If you hire a car , you have a car parking space in the underground car park.

Distances:

It is a five minute walk to the Markets which are on a Wednesday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Further Details:

Medical center , numerous banks, restaurants and bars in center. Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus are a 10 minute taxi drive. Local inexpensive buses run from the center of La Cala every 30 minutes.
