Idyllic Country Cottage In A Secluded Hamlet In Herefordshire

Overview

Property

Updated: 23-Nov-2016
Cottage in Leominster, Herefordshire, England - Beautiful Black And White Timber Framed Cottage With High Quality Traditional Furnishings

Rose Cottage is a charming black and white Tudor cottage which has been meticulously restored, inside and out, keeping the charm and authenticity of the property’s original period features intact. Whilst the traditional furnishings and paintings are high quality items, Rose Cottage has all the modern amenities a guest would expect from a newly restored property. The cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for 4 guests with two bedrooms. The detached cottage is entirely self contained with private parking and a fenced garden – ideal for young children and pets. The garden has outdoor seating (benches and tables) and a barbecue for summer. The cottage is located in a quiet hamlet between Weobley and Leominster, surrounded by 300 acres of organic farmland and cider orchards. There are many attractions nearby, in particular plenty of footpaths for keen walkers, quiet road for cyclists and Britain’s first Michelin Starred pub (The Stagg Inn) within 10 miles.

We wanted to say thank you for a lovely stay last week in your warm and cosy cottage.

We had everything we needed and loved the peaceful setting and wonderful countryside and villages to explore.

Perfect get away

  • 5 of 5

I am so pleased to have come across this amazing cottage. It was perfect for our needs and was a lovely charming cottage which was want we wanted. The log burner made the evening relaxing and cosy. The dogs enjoyed the big garden to run around too. The welcome pack of eggs and bread etc was a lovely bonus. Location was good, and not too far away from a couple of lovely National Trust places Berrington and Croft Castle.

Was worried about the cottage being on the corner of the road but had no problems or anything to be concerned about.

Would recommend and stay there again.

Fantastic New Year get away

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely time at Rose Cottage with my partner and another couple over the new year break. The cottage was fantastic, excellent facilities and the wood fire is a great bonus.

The cottage is not too far from Leominster town centre with excellent food and drink options and only short drives to local towns with great walks (leaflets for these walks are provided in the cottage)

Lara is great to deal with, everything was quick and easy.

Would definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay in rose cottage. It was like a home from home. It was well equipped and the log fire was amazing. There were some amazing walks around the area.... Our dog loved it. We had the most relaxing and peaceful stay ever and we would definitely return to stay here again. The owner Lara was a pleasure to deal with.

Thank you!

lovely Rose Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely week at the cottage. It is clean, well equiped, cosy and warm. The two bedrooms are lovely with comfortable beds. The cottage was very warm and we did not really have to use the log burner. The welcome pack was useful as it had bread, eggs, butter, milk. There is plenty of off road parking and the garden was very secure for our two dogs. Would highly recommend this cottage.

The delights of Rose Cottage

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful time we had at Rose Cottage. The cottage far exceeded our expectations. The quality of the furnishings, crockery etc. was exceptional and the cottage was extremely comfortable.

Hannah did a great job looking after the cottage, everything was spotless. We had a great time. We found Queens Wood and the dogs loved it there. Hope to be back someday.

Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

We have just spent another wonderful week at Rose cottage. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area being close to Hereford,Leominster, Ludlow and all the pretty black and white villages in-between. We enjoyed local footpath walks, cycling and just relaxing in the cosy cottage.

The cottage itself is very well equipped and the children enjoyed the freedom of the large garden and surrounding countryside.

Highly recommended.
