This impressive converted property is in the centre of the city, on the very doorstep of all that is interesting and exciting about York, you could not be better placed for a perfect city break. Within walking distance of train station and also York race course. The house has gated parking in front of the building. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious and light and are furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom and a light and airy family bathroom. With all the local amenities just moments away you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of street entertainers, shops, restaurants/bars/cafés or relax with a peaceful river cruise/walk or a lazy picnic in the Minster Gardens.

Superb property with good location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in York.The property was very clean, comfortable & decorated to a high standard. It was quiet with safe parking & we did not need to use the car as it was a short walk to all that York has to offer. The owner, Trudi was very helpful throughout the booking process & we would stay again.

Great location; perfect property for a city break

The location of the property was perfect for our 5-day stay (two couples and a small child). It's a very short stroll to the attractions in the city centre over the river (even with a 5yr-old), and there is so much to see and do in York. The property was very well-maintained, and Trudi was really helpful and responsive during the booking process. The "welcome pack" (fruit juice, wine etc) was a really lovely touch, as were the bathroom and kitchen essentials (eg. dishwasher tablets!). There are countless restaurants, takeaways, pubs and shops within walking distance - so even though we had a car, we didn't use it at all. The car-parking space included with the property is really helpful - considering the limited parking in York, to be able to park so close to the city centre is a real bonus. We hope to return again, and would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Wonderful luxury house centrally located in York

We spent a family Christmas holiday in this beautiful house which felt like my home. There was everything you needed especially to cook a Christmas meal. The house was very comfortable for sleeping and lounging and there were plenty of bathroom facilities. If you don't want to cook and you prefer the pubs or dining out then the centre is on your doorstep. The town is a 5 minute walk away. The local convenience store is just a 2 minute stroll. The owner Trudi was wonderful throughout the booking process. I would highly recommend this house and I really cannot wait to return.

Clean, comfortable and great location

Clean, comfortable and everything you need for a great self catering break. If you prefer not to cook, then you are spoilt for choice with York's many eating establishments. About 10 minutes walk from the centre of York but there is a local supermarket around 2 minutes walk from the property so once you have parked your car in the private car parking space you really won't need it again. York is a great location with historical tours, museums, shopping, eating and drinking to suit all. The owners were helpful throughout our stay and we would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for 5 days. The location was perfect with easy access to shopping and the city. The welcome package of cake and wine was really appreciated! It was wonderful to come to such a comfortable place after days of sightseeing. Thank you so much, I will recommend your place to anyone coming to York.
