The rooms are newly renovated, spacious and light and are furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom and a light and airy family bathroom. With all the local amenities just moments away you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of street entertainers, shops, restaurants/bars/cafés or relax with a peaceful river cruise/walk or a lazy picnic in the Minster Gardens.

Beautiful

I would highly recommend this property it is situated ideally for the sights of York. It is fully equipped with everything you could imagine. Beds comfortable very welcoming feel. Trudi the owner has been very helpful with questions. Thoroughly enjoyed. Would love to stay again . Milk juice and wine left in fridge and other essentials to start you off.

Great location

We had a great few days staying here with our three young children. The location is fantastic - we visited the Railway Museum, Castle Museum, the Shambles and went on a boat trip, all of which were only about 10 minutes walk away, and there are lots of restaurants, cafes and shops even closer. The house itself was well equipped, and we found the beds very comfortable.

Trudi was very helpful with the booking process, as we wanted to change the dates after we’d booked and this was no problem. Thanks for a great stay!

Spacious Modern House in Central Location

The house is located in a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. There is allocated off street parking right outside.

The house has a modern open plan layout with a large dining table and comfortable sofas in the lounge area. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed.

The beds were comfortable and there wasn't much noise outside to disturb our sleep. The bathroom has lots of space for your wash gear and somewhere to hang your towel.

Good quality bedding and towels are provided. There was fresh milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine in the fridge which was a nice touch. There was tea and coffee too.

Communication with the owner before and after our trip was very good.

This house made a great base for exploring York and it was a lovely comfortable place to come home to at the end of the day. We would choose this property again when we next visit York.

Exceptional property

Home away from home! We were taking my parents to York (dad's birthplace) to see the sights and visit family after 43 years. The apartment is in a fantastic location, walking distance to all the city sights, public transport, supermarkets, restaurants and shops and perfect for our blended party of five with everything we could possibly need and easy for family to come and visit us. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others, in fact some of our visiting family were so impressed they will be recommending to their friends as well! Thank you so much Trudi for a fabulous stay.

Perfect place to stay for a visit to York as it is within easy walking distance to the city center

Besides being well located, it was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. We really appreciated finding milk, wine and juice waiting for us in the fridge - a thoughtful touch. Having secure off street parking was also a big advantage. Highly recommended.

Clean, well equipped with thoughtful interior design and colour scheme in a small development.

Well equipped and with all suitable amenities for five adults. Good sized living room with seating for five which leads round to the spacious dining area and then into the kitchen where two can work with plenty of space to provide meals. Upstairs bathroom was of adequate size but the ensuite only has a shower so a bit disappointing there is no toilet or wash hand basin. Plenty of space for clothes for our stay of four nights. Area around the property is quiet and yet only 10 minites walk from M&S and York's many shops cafes and bars.
