'Atlantica' is ideally suited to families, groups, several couples and golfing partners, due to the privacy of the bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. There is off-road parking for two cars, in addition to ample parking along the roadside. The house has a garage, providing storage for golf equipment, surf boards, kayaks etc. This modern house is fully equipped with under-floor heating, cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, WI-Fi, TV's, DVD, PS2, table football and barbecue. The large kitchen-diner and lounge both have sliding doors which open on to the west facing private garden with patio and wooden picnic table seating 12 people. The house is in a quiet area, but is convenient to all the town's amenities, most only a short walk away.

About Mark Foster

Mark and Jackie Foster live in Bude with their two teenage children. We both work full-time and enjoy living in Bude for its proximity to fantastic beaches, coastline and beautiful surrounding countryside. We feel that Bude has the best of both worlds, being quiet and friendly, yet having great sporting and leisure facilities. We have lived in Cornwall for 24 years, so are very familiar with the area.

Why Mark Foster chose North Cornwall

We built 'Atlantica' as a spacious, purpose-built holiday home. It was designed to maximise space and light, the front of the house facing west, with views over the sea and golf course. The house is within walking distance to the town, local beaches and golf course. Bude has two great beaches, in addition to a natural sea pool ,which provides safe swimming and is lifeguarded from May to September. Bude has a variety of amenities ranging from great sporting and leisure facilities, restaurants and cafés, to traditional seaside gift and surf shops, clothing boutiques, department store, delicatessen, supermarkets and book shops. Bude Golf Club has many great offers for high and low season visitors. There are also several other golf courses and renowned attractions in the surrounding area.

Notes on accommodation: The house is non-smoking throughout. Sorry no pets. Outside: There is a private west facing garden and patio, with a picnic table seating up to 12 people. A barbecue and loungers are also provided. There is off-road parking for two cars in addition to a single garage and ample parking along the road. The garage has plenty of storage space for golf equipment, surf boards, kayaks etc. Utility Room: Off the back of the kitchen, the utility has a sink, worktop and cupboards, freezer, washing machine, dryer and coat hooks. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. Other: There is a garage which houses the barbecue and a table football. Broadband internet is available throughout the house. All the rooms are light, warm and comfortable.

Brilliant holiday home

Very good house four good size bedrooms all en suite which is very good when there are 10 of you staying. Close to beach and town. Would definitely recommend this house to large groups as plenty of space and good garden area

An ideal house for 9

The house was close to all that we wanted. Don't forget the area around the canal is good for walks and relaxing.The Chinese restaurant at the end of the he toad is excellent, and we were well looked after at the crook lets Inn, good food and helpful staff.

Atlantica - Bude

Well maintained lovely house, close to all amenities and the beach, Mark and Jackie lovely hosts, always there to help but not intrusive.

Would recommend for large families, as there is plenty of space for everyone, only slight downside was the Wi-Fi connection which was a bit hit and miss, but most people on holiday don't need to work, unlike my husband.

Thank you both for a lovely stay.

Super house, great location , fabulous owners

A great family property, slightly away from the main hustle and bustle of Bude but within easy walking distance of the town and beaches . A large family home that accommodated 2 families very easily ( 9 in total). The property was very clean and well presented. A kitchen with most things you would expect in your home . Only thing missing was a muffin tin to make single Yorkshire puddings but we got round that !

We didn't have the best of weather but it didn't stop our tribe wet suiting up and heading to the beach . We utilised the large BBQ and enjoyed the outside in between showers. The kids enjoyed the table football and had nightly competitions.

Having a shower in each bedroom and downstairs was a life saver as all the children could shower quickly and get warm.

The beds were comfortable and allowed a good night sleep for all.

The owners offered great customer service and when we commented that an outside tap would have been good to clean our wet suits rather than take them into the property, the owner provided us with a hose as a solution .

Overall we would fully recommend this property and would return to stay ourselves.

Spacious, clean and lovely house in Bude

This is gorgeous, modern and spacious house with loads of lighting. Very clean with modern furnishings. 10 of us came down to Bude to celebrate my 40th birthday. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment which helped a lot when you are cooking 3 course meal for 10 people. There is also a table tennis which only added to the fun we were having.

Excellent communication with the owners. I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone.

The nearest beach is Crooklets at only half a mile distance. This has rock pools, sand and is popular with surfers. There is a car park with disabled facilities, a café, play area and toilets. The other town beach is Summerleaze, a popular family beach with plenty of large wide areas of sand. The beach has a large car park, disabled access, a café and a natural sea pool, providing safe swimming. Lifeguards are on duty May to September. Northcott Beach and Widemouth Bay are a short drive away.
