3 storey house with 3 large double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining kitchen, dining room and a first floor living room with panoramic views and a balcony. Flat screen TV, DVD and wi-fi access. Large garage, rear patio and lawns to the front and side leading directly to the road with greensward and beach opposite. Rustington's shopping facilities and town centre are half a mile away. Littlehampton's swimming pool, tennis courts, pitch and putt and other visitor attractions are along the sea-front. 15 minutes to Arundel and Worthing: also an excellent base for excursions to Brighton, Chichester, Fontwell, Goodwood and Portsmouth dockyards.

About Mary Booth

Originally from south London I now live near Manchester, so my family are unable to visit this house as often as in the past. Consequently we decided to start renting it out as a holiday home a few years ago - and it seems all our visitors love the house as much as we do!

Why Mary Booth chose West Sussex

My parents first bought this house as a holiday home in 1986 and it's been in our family ever since! It is much loved by extended family and friends who have spent many happy days here over the years. It's situated opposite the beach and nearby Littlehampton has seaside attractions. Walkers love the South Downs Way and there are plenty of lovely places to visit for day trips.

What makes this house unique

The house has excellent accommodation with light and spacious rooms and those fabulous sea-views! The balcony is the perfect place to relax - with a cup of tea or a glass of wine - and watch the world promenade past along the greensward opposite.

Outside: Private courtyard to the rear, accessible from the kitchen. Lawns to the front and side of the house, leading directly to the road (no fence or hedge) and across to the greensward and beach. First floor balcony from the living room with sea views. Garden chairs. Parking: there is a large garage and there are no parking restrictions or charges in the roads around the property. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen hire is £9 per person and includes bed linen, towels and tea towels. The property is cleaned and checked between each booking.

A clean and well equipped house with magnificent views from the front. Mary was very helpful in providing all the information necessary for us to enjoy our stay. Very sad when it was time to go home.

Stunning house with amazing views

The property was well kept and very spacious had a rare oppertunity to eat with family and get closer thanks to the space, would highly recomend to all as the house is a stones throw from the sea with all the comforts of home and shops within a 2 min walk. Mary was amazing every need sorted and kept in contact thank you

Fantastic location with good facilities

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. Both the size of the house and its facilities was impressive, especially more so due to the very short walk to the beach. We started most days with a short 'nature' trip to see what the outgoing tide had left behind followed by an afternoon of swimming, sand castle building and relaxing in the warm weather. The end of the day was typically finished with an on-going marathon monopoly session and gazing out to sea. Booking the property was straight forward and Mary was helpful and informative throughout. We would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent holiday property

This is a first rate property in a fabulous location. To be able to watch the changing moods of the sea is a rich experience. The whole atmosphere is very relaxing. The property is close to amenities, and yet has the feel of being "away from it all." The nearest supermarket is Waitrose, but there is a Lidl not far away in Littlehampton, and a Sainsbury's and an Asda within easy driving distance. Beautiful Climping beach is easy to get to, as is the interesting and historic town of Arundel.

Very spacious , good location

Very spacious and adequately equipped house. The place was clean .It was lovely to have 3 toilets and a couple of showers. The balcony was a bonus as could sit out on it when the weather was fine, looking out to the sea. All the rooms were sizable and could accommodate the 3 children with no problem. It was also good to have a spacious kitchen and dining room as well as lounge. There was a garage to put your car in. Unfortunately ours was a large people carrier that was tricky to maneuver in. All in all a very enjoyable stay especially as location wise it was great to be able to cross the quiet road on to the beach.
