PLEASE NOTE - COTTAGE SLEEPS A MAXIMUM OF 4-5 ADULTS (PLUS 2-3 CHILDREN). This stunning holiday cottage is situated right on the beach at the middle of Red Wharf Bay on the beautiful island of Anglesey and is accessed from the village of Pentraeth. It has the most fantastic views across the bay and is ideally located for a quiet week of relaxation or as a base for a holiday exploring the delights of Anglesey. The village of Red Wharf Bay, The Ship Pub and The Boathouse Bistro are a hearty walk or few minutes’ drive away, while the town of Beaumaris is only 10-15 minutes’ drive, offering a range of small boutique shops, galleries, castle ruins and of course boat trips.

pure heaven

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cottage, 1st time February 2013, already booked for our 3rd stay in July 2014.

The cottage is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and the kitchen is so well equipped, you couldn't want for more.

Bedrooms are spacious with en-suite facilities to the 2 double rooms and a family bathroom to serve the bunk room.

Location is idyllic, right on the beach. A short walk or drive around the bay brings you to miles of golden sands where children and teenagers alike can spend their days playing and surfing.

Kate, the owner, is extremely helpful and can be contacted should you have any problems.

I can definitely recommend staying here, just not in the weeks I want to stay.

Pen y lon is our perfect spot to relax and chill out as a family where the children can play on the beach and we can relax with the newspapers or a good book. It is within easy travelling distance of our favourite town on the island Beaumaris but remote enough to feel like a real retreat and being so close to the sea is undoubtedly good for the soul!

Spar shop/garage with good range of essentials in Pentraeth (1 mile). Spar, chemist,butcher, several pubs & restaurants, boutique shops in Beaumaris (15 mins drive), Waitrose at Menai Bridge (15 mins drive) or at huge Tesco’s at Bangor (15-20 mins drive). Tescos will do home delivery to cottage. Pub & restaurant in Red Wharf Bay village - (5 mins drive). Spar, chemist & butcher in Benlech (10 mins drive).

Changeover Day:
Friday Changeovers during Peak season. Flexibile changeover day at low season. Tenancy commences at 3.00 pm. and you undertake to leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition and vacate them NO LATER THAN 10.00 am. on the last day of your tenancy.

Notes on prices:
Short breaks of 2-4 nights also available. These can be booked in advance during off-peak periods or last minute (one week in advance) during peak periods i.e. July - Sept incl and Xmas/new year.
