Wansfell apartment is located in what was once the magnificent Georgian hotel of Borrans Park. There are spectacular views up to Wansfell and Fairfield. The spacious luxury apartment has a rural setting providing peace and tranquillity for total relaxation and is also an ideal base for exploring the lakes and enjoying the facilities of Ambleside. Parking for 2 cars. 2 large double ensuite bedrooms.

Luxury apartment in central location

The pictures do not do this apartment justice as it is beautiful, spacious and accommodates you every need. The kitchen is warm and welcoming with every mod con you might need from cd player/radio, dishwasher to washing machine and the owners kindly leave complementary cleaning supplies along with a bottle of wine and biscuits.

The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and both bedrooms are en suite with big comfy beds.

The lounge is equipped with a large flat screen tv with free view and a supply of DVDs should the weather keep you indoors and two large comfy sofas.

The apartment is also ideally located for central lakes with plenty of villages only a short drive away. The location was also great for a walk into Ambleside village or to Waterside at the end of Lake Windermere

Can't fault this apartment and have already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back

Great property in a great location.

Fantastic self catering accommodation, quiet location with great views yet only a 5 minute stroll in to the heart of Ambleside. Both bedrooms are a good size & have comfortable beds & both en-suite.

Owners are great hosts, tea & coffee provided plus a daily milk service available. Lovely welcome gesture of a bottle of wine & chocolates.

It certainly was a real home from home, can't wait to return.

Short breaks are sometimes available within a Saturday to Saturday period during November, December and January.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. Property available from 3pm on day of arrival. Please vacate by 10am on day of departure. If holiday is for more than one week, then linen and towels will be changed and a cleaning will be done if requested at no extra charge.
