Hebog Bach is a luxurious renovated 5 star graded 18th Century cottage set on a private 2000 acre leafy estate on the edge of Snowdona. This charming single storey cottage has been designed and furnished by the Williams-Ellis family, whose attention to detail and carefully chosen soft furnishings, wall hangings and textiles make this a delightful place to stay. With it's limed oak flooring, woodburning stove, high ceilings and pastel colours and bookshelves crammed with books,whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat or a family holiday, Heboch Bach won't disappoint. Every room has its own charm - the yellow room with a superking bed and window seat to escape with a book: the pink room with single beds which zip together to make a superking and doors leading to the patio: the green room with single beds and delightful wall hangings. There are stunning views right across the Llyn Peninsular from both inside the house and from the pretty walled private garden.

This adorable stone cottage has been renovated in harmony with its surroundings. Step into a living room with full height ceilings, oak limed floors and beams, sweet, simple and well-equipped . A fabulous welcome pack on the table: home made cake and jam, coffee and tea, biscuits and juice. Modern sofas heaped with cushions face a wood-burning stove, logs courtesy of the surrounding estate and blue-painted French windows open the patio with a barbecue and canvas chairs. The sea views are spectacular. This is a beautiful cottage where colours are serene, fabrics are fresh, and prints, paintings and furniture (antique and new) add both character and style. The yellow room with delightful window seat looking across the fields. The pink room with singles which can be zipped together has a fantastic en-suite. The green room with twin beds is perfect for children. Groups can spill over into the manor house or neighbouring cottage. There's Criccieth for castle and sands, Harlech for history, and glorious walks up in the hills.

So many of our guests come back year after year "we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else" "the beds were divine" "The cottage has everything you could ever want and more, its a really beautiful place".

You feel that you have the whole of the private Wern Estate to yourselves - wander up the lanes and enjoy the tranquility. Catch the local bus into Criccieth and enjoy a meal at the many restaurants. The list is endless....just come and see for yourselves!

We had a lovely time thanks! We found the cottage very comfortable, luxurious and romantic. The attention spent on every detail and the general quality of everything in the cottage made it feel very special (from the under floor heating to the artwork on the walls, from the books on the shelf to the kitchen utensils....everything really!!). And its a great location for getting away from everything and exploring Snowdonia/North Wales.

Just to let you know that we have had a wonderful time at Hebog Bach. The property is gorgeous and everything that we could have wanted. I never thought of work once! We all feel so relaxed. The property was pristine in every way. The sheep and lambs around the property made the children's day!

We have loved everything. The furniture, the linen, the decor, the lighting and the excellent quality of fixtures and fittings. They have all been truly appreciated. We have had a wonderful holiday and are very sad to be going.

Notes on accommodation: We are delighted to welcome walkers and cyclists and have a large shed where equipment can be stored safely. We do accept one "well behaved" dog by arrangement. Outside: French Windows from the living room lead onto the large patio where there is garden furniture and umbrellas (for both sun and showers!). The gardens are private, walled and safe for young children. There are outstanding views right across the Llyn Peninsular. The Wern Estate is surrounded by ancient oak woodlands which guests at the cottage are welcome to explore. We even have a private lake which is stocked with trout where guests can fish at a nominal cost. Utility Room: There is a separate utility room with washer/drier, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Beds are made up for arrival using fine thread Egyptian cotton and pure down marshmallow duvets. House, beach towels and guest soaps are provided. We include a mid-week clean.

A most fabulous weekend

What a wonderful place. The cottage was beautiful, the views stunning. Perfectly situated for the coast and the hills. The housekeeper was lovely and welcoming. A "welcome pack" awaited us with the essentials (and some goodies) for breakfast, a lot of which were home made. The beds and linen were so luxurious I could have slept for a week. I will definitely visit again.
