A very spacious 4 bed property. 70m2 roof terrace with built in furniture, water and electric supply. Not suitable for toddlers or young children. The property has 2 bedrooms on each floor and each can be self contained if necessary (though access to the 1st floor is through ground floor salon and access to roof terrace through 1st floor kitchen). Adjacent to Boutique Hotel V and within 50 metres of the castle and Church of Divine Salvador. Local shops, restaurants and bars are a short walk away.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this charming place. The company was great, lots to do and see. The house was comfortable and stylish with everything I needed and in a fantastic location. I will definitely stay again!

Owner's Response: Thanks. Glad you enjoyed your visit over the Christmas holidays. I agree you can't really beat the location, at the top of town looking down to the Plaza de Espana and the old town walls - I'm so lucky to have found a house there. Did you get the wood burning stove going? (I left you some olive wood logs) However if it doesn't get too cold at night the wall panels and towel radiators usually provide sufficient heating in winter!

Fantastic Views!

A lovely and really spacious house, easily accomodated a couple and a small family with plenty of bathroom & kitchen spaces for everyone.

The roof terrace was a real benifit and the views are absolutly amazing. Plenty of lovely shops, supermarkets & restuarants within walking distance of the house and pretty much an evening event of some sort Thursday to Sunday.

We loved the beautiful beach at El Palmar as its only a short drive away and the bars & restuarants were very friendly. We strongly recommend the Califa Hotel Restaurant as a treat but we also loved thir little Cafe Bar in the square, but a barbeque on the terrace is equally as lovely.

We were also easily able to visit Cadiz, Tarifa & Tangier without long car journeys.

Perfect for a family with older children or a couple of couples!

I have been coming to the Costa del Luz for years and decided Vejer was the ideal place to buy a home. It is still a very traditional Spanish town, but with lots of interesting people from other parts of Spain and elsewhere. You can chill out on unspoilt beaches, take in flamenco at a famous Pena, learn Spanish or just enjoy the many bars and restaurants - some very upmarket.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Jerez de la frontera at 50 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Bar Begines; El Jardin; Pena de flamenco at 50 Metres Nearest Train : San Fernando, cadiz at 35 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : As bars at 50 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Zagora at 10 Kilometres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

A wide range of activities including horse riding, whale watching, kite surfing, windsurfing, wake boarding, surfing, paragliding, rambling, bird watching are all within easy reach. There are the sherry towns of Jerez, Puerto de Santa Maria, Sanlucar and historical towns of Seville, Cadiz (35 minutes) to visit and even Morocco is only just over an hour’s journey from Tarifa.


El Palmar beach is 10-15 minutes drive, kms of sand and surf. Restaurants, bars and sunsets. Zahara de los Atunes, 15-20 minutes drive, sandy dunes, restaurants and tapas bars in small fishing town. Conil de la Frontera white hilltop town with large beach 15 minutes drive, lots of restaurants and tapas. Cape Trafalgar and Canos de Meca (safe swimming) 15 minutes drive. Barbate fishing town 10-15 minutes drive, good market. Bolonia 30 mins; Tarifa 40 minutes drive - kite surfing and beaches.

From the Owner

The property is within the historic centre, close to the castle and Church of Divine Salvador. You can drive to the front door and park nearby (outside if the space is available) - but best to hire a small car (Fiat Panda or 500 the best but Toyata Yaris will also do the trick). As you are now virtually at the top of the hill you can easily walk to the Pena de flamenco and other local bars and restaurants or get some exercise and go down to the Plaza Espana or La Plazuela and the local market! The big advantage of the property is that it has its own entrance, not shared in a courtyard with other families - so it is quiet and private. There are fantastic views from inside the property and the 2nd floor roof terrace.
