A modern newly refurbished two bedroom apartment in a quiet residential area. The apartment is light with all windows overlooking the communal garden. There is a lift from the underground car park. As the apartment is a three minute walk from Surbiton Station a car is not essential to get into London. The apartment is well furnished with everything needed for a comfortable holiday home, from the John Lewis sofa and large tv and wifi in the reception room to the Egyptian cotton sheets in the bedrooms and the fully fitted kitchen.

About Martin Burns

We are a semi retired couple and live close to this lovely property. We maintain it to a very high standard. It is really well placed for all services and has great facilities.We have enjoyed equipping it with top quality fittings from the Egyptian cotton bedding to the large screen TV.

Nice apartment with a very hospital welcome. The apartment is located near the train station which goes directly to the center of London which makes it ideal to tour around.

We stayed with our 3 young children for a week, May 2015, and the place was perfect as described. It is comfortable and welcoming, well-furnished and provided of all is necessary. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and all equipment was of a good quality. Many shopping centres are in nearby with all the known high street and designer names, cafes and restaurants. It is a short and easy walk to Surbiton train station which has you in Waterloo station in about 20 minutes. There are frequent trains and it is easy to get to central London and all the major attractions. Martin, the owner, is a friendly host; he was responsive when we had a temporary oven issue which was promptly resolved. We hope to return again sometime and we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Visiting London for my son's graduation with my extended family for a long weekend of sightseeing. Flat was centrally located to station for speedy trip into the city and within short walking distance to fabulous town centre shops and market. Situated in a quiet residential street with everything you could wish for on your doorstep and within the front door! Clean and tidy with beautiful quality towels and bed linen. Will definitely stay again when visiting and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to friends. Welcome pack was very welcome after a long days travel from the north and the nightmare that is the M25. Stayed at Stratton Appartment with my wife and two children (aged 8 and 10). We used to live in Surbiton some years ago and like to come back and visit now and again. This was our first stay at this apartment though. The apartment is of course in an excellent location and the the owner could not have been more accommodating. The hallways of the building are a little dated but the warmth of the flat more than makes up for it. Security deposit was refunded without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Martin the owner was incredibly easy to deal with and welcoming with the food pack he left for us. It's a very neat, simple and warm apartment, and has secure under cover parking. If you want convenience for the station for trains to town, the high street with all the shops you need and access to the river, and buses to Kingston. then it's hard to beat this location. It was such an easy stay.

Wonderful accommodation for London travelers

Our group of 4 found this accommodation a delight. It is comfortable, clean, safe, and a short walk from the train station. There is shopping and food available in the cute downtown just 2 blocks away. I felt as though we were living in suburban London for a week, and am very glad we did not stay in the city or in a chain hotel. We would gladly return, and found the owner Martin to be very responsive and helpful.

Excellent little flat in a charming, quiet areas close to the train stop.

Our daughter is studying at Kingston, which is why we chose this location. The area is delightful, and the flat had everything we needed, was well appointed, and was on a quiet street close to the trains that took us to London. Fine communication with the owners and all around first rate.

A convenient gem with everything you need!

The apartment at Stratton Court was the perfect home base for us for our two week stay. So very convenient to get to Hampton Court and then a 20 minute express ride to Waterloo for trips into London. With all the self catering facilities on hand and the fabulous Mary visiting to freshen up the place it made for an extremely comfortable stay. We discovered Surbiton is a pretty busy place and offers everything you need, all within 5-10 minutes of the apartment front door. Martin was a great host, communicated well and made the extra effort to meet our needs. We'll be back!

A great base for south London

Clean, comfortable apartment with parking. Nearby M&S food, Waitrose and Sainsbury local. Great customer service from Martin. Location very convenient for train to Wimbledon or Waterloo. Walk or bus to Kingston on Thames, hourly boat from there to Hampton Court. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay in Surbiton, while sightseeing in Central London.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, well equipped and perfectly located flat in Surbiton. This flat is close to the train station but on a peaceful side street. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking but with a Marks and Spencer Simply Food and a Waitrose super close by, we cheated and ate very well with little effort! We were pleasantly surprised how close we were to the scenic path along the Thames at Surbiton and Kingston.

As many of others have said, this flat was truly a peaceful and convenient home base to explore the busy sights of central London from.

Martin was really good to rent from - responding quickly to all questions, giving clear directions on accessing the flat and responding immediately to the only minor query we had on arrival. The welcome package was very much appreciated.

We would definitely give the flat 5+ stars if renting for 4 people, but the pullout beds in the living room are not that comfortable. Otherwise it met the needs of our multi-generation group of 5 perfectly.

That said we highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again.
