La Solana is situated along a small private lane on a pine-clad mountainside 1 km from the picturesque old village of Capdepera. The house overlooks the fishing port and holiday resort of Cala Ratjada, about 2 km away, with splendid views of the sea. It is ideal for families and adult groups and those seeking peace and quiet, yet is within easy reach of many shops, fine restaurants and night-life. Nearby are superb sandy beaches and secluded coves, the nearest being 10 mins walk. Ther are 4 terraces for both the house and pool for sunbathing/dining. The property is the private family residence of the owner and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard in the traditional style with every modern amenity. A car is necessary, and rental can be arranged with convenient pick-up at the airport 60 mins away. A complimentary CD with audio is available on request.

The perfect holiday!

This was part honeymoon/part holiday. We took my 3 offspring and my son's girlfriend to celebrate our wedding and also the end of university for my daughters. From the start I found Tony to be the perfect villa owner. Before we went he called me to help clarify matters and was in touch when ever I needed.

We drove from the airport to the villa and when we arrived we were just blown away by how beautiful it was. We could tell that a lot of love has gone into the furnishing and decoration of the villa and everywhere we looked there were little details.

The location is perfect - so peaceful and quiet and yet only a short distance to drive to the nearest village which had shops, a few bars and restaurants and a lovely beach.

In the other direction there is Cala Ratjada which is larger and has lots of shops, a very trendy harbour area and masses of fabulous restaurants.

Less than 10 minutes' drive away is the castle in Capdepera and this is a lovely old town which is worth a visit.

Back at the villa there are 3 terraced areas so you can always find the sunshine and there are plenty of sun loungers which we used round the pool. If you are fed up of the sun, the living room and dining room are really comfy and spacious and have superb view of the countryside leading to the sea and there are views of the boats in the distance.

Actually - words cant describe how lovely it all was. I thoroughly recommend staying here. You really will not be disappointed.

Worth to spend your vacation at

I liked the house and the location very much. Its description is accurate but I found the house even better than expected. It's clean, convenient and cozy and has everything you need working properly.

The owner was firendy and provided clear instruction on how to get to the place. There was also a detailed information book about the house and surroundings. We updated it with what we found interesting during our staying.

There are many places to see around, if you have a car. I like clean and beautiful sandy beaches close by. You can easily find water sports or tennis courts to practice, as well as restaurants or bars.

I recommend La Solana as a nice place for vacation with my greatest pleasure.

The large front house terrace is ideal for larger gatherings and is equipped with a large table and 6 chairs. Utility Room: Washing machine Clothes airers Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is thoroughly cleaned before and after your visit and towels/bed linen are changed weekly.
