The Granary and the Hayloft are 2 carefully converted traditional granite barns in the grounds of the owners 17th century farmhouse. The cottages are in a pretty enclosed courtyard, with outside seating for relaxing and barbecueing. Peaceful and surrounded by mature gardens, fields, lanes and pasture, Tregathenan is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and guests can meet our small herd of friendly alpacas, our ducks and geese. Dogs welcome in Granary only. Short breaks are offered between September and June. Please enquire with the owner for prices.

2 pretty dormer bedrooms with countryside views across to the sea at Porthleven. The master bedroom has pine double bed with matching pine furniture.

Second bedroom has two 3 foot pine single beds with wardrobe and bedside tables.

Family bathroom downstairs with large modern walk-in shower, heated towel rail, wash basin and wc.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker and oven, washer drier, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. Additional freezer space is available if required.

Dining area with round table and chairs. Cosy lounge with armchairs and sofas for four people. Patio door opens onto sheltered seating area with pretty tubs and pots. Freeview TV/DVD combi. CD/Radio. Free WiFi

Distances:

Tregathenan is approximately three miles north of the historic market town of Helston, home of the annual Floral Dance. Britain's most southerly point Lizard Point is approximately 12 miles away and Land's End about 40 minutes drive. St Ives, Truro and Falmouth are just a short drive away.

Further Details:

Helston boasts a wealth of fascinating local shops as well as four supermarkets one of which is open 24 hours. All the major UK banks and building societies are represented here.

The area around Tregathenan is renowned for the quality of it's pubs and restaurants and we are always happy to make recommendations to suit individual tastes. Porthleven is a short drive away and sees the opening of Rick Stein's new restaurant in November 2014 to add to the many other eating places in this pretty harbour town.

Booking Notes:
A 25% deposit is payable on booking with the balance due eight weeks before the start of your stay. We can accept cheques and major credit cards (subject to +2% administration charge) and debit cards (no additional fee).

Cottages are ready for you from 4.00 pm onwards on the day of arrival and we ask you to vacate by 10.00 am on your morning of departure.

Short breaks (minimum three days) are available except during July and August.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday during peak times. Please contact us regarding other periods.

Notes on prices:
Short breaks are priced as follows:
3 nights weekly rate x 65%
4 nights weekly rate x 75%
5 nights weekly rate x 85%
