Sleeps 4. 2 bedroom house on two levels with both bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor, and the lounge / kitchen on the first floor. Lounge/dining room/kitchen: The entrance leads directly into a very spacious open plan area, that is fitted and decorated to a very high standard, including leather sofas a television/DVD player and Freeview. WI-FI is also available free of charge. It is very well equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge.

Hello, I am Teresa Shipley-Smith, the owner of No.21 Bolt Head. I lived at No.21 until 2012. I now live still in Salcombe but in the residential area. My son, Robert helps me with the bookings.

Why TJ Shipley Smith chose Salcombe

Salcombe is a lovely place for a holiday. I fell in love with it back in 2007, sold up in the Midlands and moved lock stock and barrel! No.21 was my introduction. I loved living there. It is a beautiful town house.

What makes this house unique

The beaches here on the estuary are wonderful. The water quality excellent, and safe bathing. Great for families, couples, solo. Lots of places to visit. Lots of great eating places, and a walkers paradise.

Lovely home to be able to use and in the best place!

This was our first time in number 21 and Teresa, the owner was so helpful before our stay. It was lovely to arrive and have the basic necessaries waiting for us as a welcome. The living accommodation was great with gorgeous sofas for us all.

Warm & comfortable house well positioned in South Sands

We spent a delightful long weekend here and enjoyed superb weather for April. Although the house doesnt have a sea view the complex was very quiet & ideal for a relaxing stay. Very comfortable settees and furnishings but our adult daughter had an uncomfortable nights sleep feeling the mattress springs on both beds. (This may not be an issue for young children). The double bed was extremely comfortable. Good parking area and superb access to NT coast path and Overbecks with breathtaking estuary views. Easy access to Salcombe 30 minute walk or ferry £3.70 each from South Sands a few minutes away.

Beautifully clean house, well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a real home from home. South sands beach is just below and easily accessed from the property.

Excellent property

Wonderful location, interesting drive up to Bolt Head

Apartment all that one could wish for apart from the TV not working in the two bedrooms.

Coast/Beach:

The property is a 2 minute walk from the South Sands Beach. The beach is very very nearby. Literally just down the steps and across the lane. South Sands is the last beach in the estuary before the open ocean, making all the beaches on the Estuary safe bathing. The water quality is excellent. There are many and varied walks, country, costal, cliff, it is a walkers paradise. Salcombe town is a delight with many various high quality shops, pubs and restaurants. The walk from south sands into the town takes about 35minutes, you would pass North Sands which is another lovely Sandy Beach, with the well known Winking Prawn Cafe. Or else you can take a ferry to get you from a to b.
