About Sarah Baines

My husband and I have lived here for the past five years, returning to the village after both growing up here ourselves,we wanted our own children to enjoy growing up in this beautiful village, such a special environment by the sea.

Since moving here we have undertaken a full refurbishment of the house to a high standard including new kitchen, bathrooms, central heating, full rewire, complete modern re-decoration throughout and enhancing aspects to fully appreciate the light and views throughout the property, aswell as some landscape gardening to enable something in the garden that suits everyone of all ages.

Now we have the opportunity to let our very special home for others to enjoy what we've loved so much about living here!...Happy Holidays

Sarah Baines purchased this villa in 2009

Why Sarah Baines chose Plymouth

Notes on accommodation: The Property is suitable for children, there are two flat child friendly gardens, a treehouse, all to be used under adult supervision and responsibility.Gas central heating. The decking area outside the conservatory has a table, parasol and chairs for dining, plus a BBQ for your use in summer. There is ample car parking directly in front of the property for 3 cars and the property has minimal traffic as is on a private road of just 10 properties,so no through traffic. The Rear Garden is fairly steep and accessed through a locked gate, Apple trees and a Picnic area up the top, all of which you are welcome to use but at your own risk and supervision. Seaglass is a really well-equipped, spacious and comfortable family home and Sarah and Ed are absolutely lovely. The sea views from the house and garden are breath taking and there is so much to do in the area. We had a really happy week there and would love to return.

Peaceful coastal retreat

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Seaglass for a week in august with our two children. It was a beautiful house in a lovely location, with a fantastic view of the coast from the lounge and balcony.

There were excellent coastal walks just on the door step and Lots of good attractions a short drive away.

Penywell Farm was great for the kids, and Becky Falls was beautiful.

The beds were very comfortable and the cottage had all the facilities we needed.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage, and we intend to return ourselves.

We have just had the most wonderful week at Seaglass. The property is beautifully decorated, very clean, modern and very comfortable. The views are outstanding and the situation of the property makes it so easy to just spend the day on the deserted, (don't know why,) beautifully peaceful beach which is just a short walk away. The sandy beach has amazing rock pools. We also had a few meals at The Eddistone pub nearby, which were good. The Mussel inn in Down Thomas was also very good. Our party included grandparents x2, our son & granddaughter aged 5 who adored the chickens. Thanks to Sarah & Ed for giving us such a lovely week. Can really recommend this great holiday home, but if you do go to Heybrook Bay beach, don't tell everyone because it is also very special.
