Clube Alvor Ria is a private apartments complex located in the fishing village of Alvor. With its unique situation, in front of Alvor River Estuary, the views over the harbour, dunes and sea are wonderful. The complex has an outdoor pool, a large sun-terrace with loungers, gardens and secure parking. It stays approx 5 min walking distance to the restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and the beautiful Alvor’s long fine sandy beach. For golfers, the Alto Golf Country Club and Penina golf courses are 5 - 10 minute drive. This sunny and bright apartment, facing south and west, with 2 bedrooms is located on the 2nd floor, and it is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard. For hiking lovers there is a newly constructed boardwalk over the sand dunes/beach providing wonderful walks and a sports centre with tennis, basketball and public indoor swimming pool next to the complex.

Cannot fault this apartment at all, the views from 2 balconies were fantastic, direct access to balcony from both bedrooms, and everything in the apartment you could possibly need including proper hairdryer and iron. Met Maria who is just the most lovely lady, cannot do enough for you. We were left a lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. The photos do not do the apartment justice, it had been updated and I would recommend this to anyone. Maria, myself and Robert will be back, lots of love, Karen.xx

The coast is approximately 500m away. Alvor's long sandy beach, with restaurants and snack bars, is just 5 min walk.

Faro airport to Alvor is approx 75 Km, about 45/60 minutes drive, mostly motorway. Car hire is advisable, but not essential with the availability of taxis, transfers companies and bus services. A train service is also available.

Location information: With its beautiful estuary landscapes, once the home of King John II (Principe Perfeito) in the 15th century, due to its special climate conditions, Alvor is a small coastal fishing village that oozes charm. Alvor's village is 50 mts away from Clube Alvor Ria and there you may find all kinds of shops, typical and international restaurants, cafés, bars and supermarkets. The local Sports Centre is 2 minutes walking from Alvor Ria complex. Praia de Rocha, famous for its night-life and casino is a 10 minute drive away. The Alvor’s beach is one of the best of Portugal with 4 miles of white sand. On the east side of the beach there are beautiful rocks and coves. Alvor has much to offer, tours and boat trips can be organised as well as many activities to include kitesurfing, cycling, sailing, fishing, etc. The newly boardwalk around the estuary and running parallel to the beach is a great way to see Alvor at its best.

All prices are based on 4 people sharing. A deposit of 30% by bank transfer secures the booking and final payment is due at arrival in cash or prior to arrival by bank transfer. Cots and Z beds available at a supplement of 10 Euros per day. A security deposit of € 200 will be required and it will be returned after property inspection and within 7 days of the departure date. Changeover Day:
Arrival should be after 3 pm and departure by 11 am. This may be negotiable, pending other arrivals/departures.

Notes on prices:
The prices are for an occupancy of up to 4 people. Each additional person will pay 10 Euros per day. Cots and Z beds available at a supplement of 10 Euros per day.

In case of loss of any of the swipe cards or the remote control, there will be a charge of 25 Euros per unit. In case of loss of the safe key there will be an extra charge of 30 Euros.

The apartment is fully licensed for rentals according to the Portuguese law. The apartment have air-conditioning. Private parking space and disabled access (lift). The apartment must be vacated by 11 am on departure day. Arrivals after 3 pm on change over days to allow for apt cleaning.
