Holiday Home in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, England - Peaceful Location With Plenty Of Activities And Facilities On Your Doorstep

Welcome to our lovely holiday home, situated in The Wiltshire Leisure Village, Wootton Bassett. The leisure village is set in the hillsides of the beautiful and historic Cotswolds countryside. Our holiday home is a beautiful two storey, three bedroomed, eco friendly Ridgeway lodge, built in 2008, which will comfortably accommodate six people. There is adequate parking for cars, extra parking available at the hotel car park 200 yards away from the lodge. It is well furnished, has a large double bedroom with en-suite, large twin bedroom with single beds and a smaller third bedroom with bunk beds. It also has a large family bathroom with shower and bath, and there are three toilets in total. It boasts a fully fitted kitchen diner, large living space with TV and spacious patio with stunning views of the countryside and local wildlife.

Welcome to our lovely holiday home, situated in The Wiltshire Leisure Village, Royal Wootton Bassett. We bought this house as a holiday home for our family of six and are very happy to be able to share it with you. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do every time we visit.

Our house is a spacious fully furnished self catering property which gives a true feel of home from home. With regular holiday makers visiting year after year. A beautiful home set in the heart of the Cotswold's.

The use of a car is essential if you wish to explore the local towns and villages or venture further afield. The closest railway station is Swindon. Royal Wootton Bassett approx 5 minutes drive. The closest motorway J16 of the M4 Junction approx 10mins drive.


The old market town of Royal Wootton Bassett is approx 1 mile away from our holiday home. It's personal shopping High Street is a marked difference to the big malls and outlets of Swindon and Bristol, 2 miles from Jct 16 - M4. Stonehenge 35 minutes. Avebury Circle 15 mins. Ridgeway walks 15 mins. Bristol 35 mins. Bath 25mins. Marlborough 15 mins. Swindon Outlet Mall and Cribbs Causeway Shopping Mall are within easy reach. Cotswold Water Park 20 mins.

During your stay at 5 Lakes View, you can take the opportunity to use The Wiltshire Hotel restaurant and bar, which also has a lodge menu Take Away service. You will also have the pleasure of the 27 hole golf course, spa, modern technogym and swimming pool and leisure facilities at reduced rates. All of which is right on your doorstep within the grounds.

The on site management suite is based within The Wiltshire Hotel 24hr reception and will be on hand for your every day enquiries and requirements. Fresh sheets, welcome pack and thorough clean before guests arrive. Wi-Fi is free in the clubhouse and there is also satellite television in the bar lounge.

  • Outside: To the rear of the property there is a large patio which opens out onto a large grassy area over looking the rolling countryside with breath taking views. There is plenty of local wildlife to keep you amused day and night. There is parking on the front of the property for 1 car with additional parking in the hotel carpark approx 200 yards away. Utility Room: Under stairs utility and cloaks cupboard is home to an iron, ironing board, hoover, mop, bucket and shoe rack. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and fresh bed linen are supplied and the property is fully cleaned and serviced for your arrival.
