Outside: There is a large private south west facing terrace (22 m2) with table and 4 chairs. There is a choice of swimming pools set within landscaped gardens. Utility Room: Washing machine (with tumble drier), clothes drier. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fully equipped with towels and linen for 4 people.

Lovely and clean spacious apartment

The apartment was much more spacious than we expected with great views. The location was ideal. Lovely and peaceful yet very close to the beaches and restaurants. Great walks along the beaches - with many restaurants and bars en route. We had many a nice walk along the boardwalk. Had breakfast every morning out on the terrace overlooking the mountains, fantastic. Weather was great for January. The apartment had all the amenities that we required. Safe and secure parking. The owners were very accomodating to our needs. The location was ideal also as we were able to explore the area. We got the train into Malaga from Fueringerola which was great. We enjoyed the festival of the 3 kings in Marbella. And, often walked from Marbella to Puerto Banus along all the beaches with a great choice of bars and restaurants on the way.

We stayed for 5 weeks during Feb/Mar escaping the cold of UK.

The apartment is nicely laid out although the bedding and towels need updating a bit shabby. It's located in a quiet area which was great. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for most of our stay cold and rainy. The apartment doesn't get any sun until 3pm so it was quite cold, so a bit apprehensive about using the a/c as we had been told only 7 euros a day. Overall a nice place to stay but not really suitable for winter stays. We did have a few issue at the begin but John and Katie sorted them out quickly which we thank them for. Definitely need a car as the hills are not for the faint heart. Overall a pleasant stay

Owner's Response: OWNERS COMMENTS FOR FUTURE GUESTS: 1) It was unfortunate our guests experienced unusually cold and rainy weather, described locally as the worst for more than 30 years! It must have been very disappointing for our guests planning their “Escaping the cold of UK”. 2) Enjoying the excellent micro climate, hundreds of thousands of people live all year round in the Marbella area, many thousands in Elviria, and neighbours of ours permanently live in their apartments. Our apartment is suitable for winter or summer stays, the whole area has been established for winter and summer living for many years. Guests who stayed in our apartment early January 2017 had breakfast on the terrace every morning, and enjoyed walking in the area – please see their review and the other winter reviews for the apartment. 3) Our description states that the apartment faces south west, therefore providing afternoon sun and beautiful evening sunsets. The apartment is well insulated and, as long as doors and windows are securely closed, the apartment stays warm with very economic use of the air-con. 4) We never supply linen which is even “a bit shabby”. Three sets of good quality cotton linen were provided on this occasion, 2 sets had been purchased only at the beginning of the season. Future guests please read our other reviews, you will see this is the only review with unfavourable comments. 5) A car can be an advantage for touring the beautiful mountains and villages but for those who prefer more exercise there is a stream-side path to the beach which presents no walking difficulty in normal weather. Owing to inclement weather this path was closed most of February 2017. 6) Rarely do guests have any issues but we will always endeavour to provide a speedy remedy.

We had a great stay at this apartment which was clean and serviced well.

The directions were clear to get to the property and only 10 minutes from Marbella .A car is essential to get about as it is hilly and a car ride away to the nearest beach which was the golden beach . The swimming pool was lovely and clean and used very little which made us feel as if it was ours . The area is peaceful and quiet which made our stay all the better ! Thank you .

A car can an advantage for touring, although following the walking route we suggest, beaches, a choice of restaurants, and shops can be walked to in 20 minutes. Public transport by train, taxi, or bus provides a relaxing alternative.

vacations in a wonderful apartment

We stayed 22 days in Elviria (on july 2016), living in this spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. situated in the hills of Elviria . From the great balcony you have a nice view on the mountains of Marbella and on the sea from the left part . If you don't like to swim in the sea , you have a choice of four 6 pools.(one was in refection during our stay). The place is very quiet, and well situated, only 12 mn by car from Marbella ! If you want, you also can reach the beach by walk going down the hill !! Sincerely this a very nice place and we really recommend it .

A wonderful stay in a beautiful, well equipped apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and were impressed by how spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated it was.

The owners provided lots of information and useful directions.

Elviria is lovely and the nearby Lidl is well stocked and has everything you could possibly need, including a very good bakery for fresh bread and croissants and some lovely riojas!

Elviria is within walking distance but very hilly so would recommend a car if you have children or walking difficulties.

The grounds were immaculate and the pools were clean and a good size (if a little cold in May!)

As we hired a car we found elviria very central for sightseeing. Marbella was about 10 mins away. Puerto banus was about 15mins. We also visited mijas pueblo, fuengirola and even Gibraltar which were all between 30-60 mins away!

Overall would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Fantastic apartment *****

We have just returned from a one month stay , and I can honestly we did not want to come home ,, what a fab apartment, the lounge area is really lovely with great views of the mountains whilst watching Tv . the balcony is huge with plenty of places to sit in the afternoon sun, the views also from the balcony are stunning, sea to the left, mountains straight ahead , and the lovely green hills to the right , you could sit on the balcony all day just looking at the view,

The large bedroom is fab with a very comfy bed for an excellent night's sleep, and, The two bathrooms also being an added bonus, .

The kitchen is very well equipped with every utensil you could think of , (especially the salad spinner) I have had to go out and but one I loved it that much!!

Everything about the apartment was just as the photos , really fab, and very quiet and peaceful just as we like it !,

We would not hesitate to return and hopefully we are soon , and would definitely recommend this luxury apartment to our friends .
