'The Meadows' is an extremely comfortable and well equipped bungalow, recently updated and restored and situated in the centre of the unspoilt village of Stanhoe, just four miles from the Georgian town of Burnham Market and within short distance of the North Norfolk coast. It is a super property for both families and couples. The accommodation briefly comprises 3 good sized double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room, kitchen/dining room and utility room. Heating for the property is by full oil fired central heating and the sitting room has the added benefit of a wood burning stove. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and all the bedrooms have ample wardrobe space and storage. The property has unlimited Wi Fi Broadband. The garden is enclosed with a gated entrance, gravel planted area to the front and patio to the rear enjoying views over open pasture land. For birdwatching enthusiasts, RSPB Titchwell and Cley are nearby and golfers can enjoy the wonderful links courses at Brancaster and Hunstanton.

Excellent holiday bungalow for families/couples

A wonderful stay at the Meadows. The bungalow is extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped, with light and well laid out rooms with plenty of storage. The property is quiet and ideally situated in order to enjoy the delights of North Norfolk, including wonderful beaches, bird reserves, scenic walks, boating, cycling and much more. We particularly loved watching a pair of barn owls at dusk in the field opposite and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the local pub. We look forward to returning.

Lovely cottage

What a delightful place to stay with the family. Very nicely appointed with all you would need for a stay in this lovely part of the countryside. Very near to some delightful places to visit, including the Royal West Norfolk golf club. The bungalow is very nicely maintained and had everything that we would expecte to enable us to enjoy our stay. The owners were a delight to deal with and we would happily go back there. Ideal for a family or a group of friends. Highly recommended.

We purchased this property in order to have somewhere comfortable to stay when we holiday in the area, which is an ideal location for accessing the beach, sailing and the golf course. We both love the area and enjoy the many facilities on offer.

Visitors can enjoy the many wonderful sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast, bird watching, golf, horse riding, walking and sailing. Sandringham House, Houghton Hall and The Holkham Estate are within a short distance. Train enthusiasts can travel on the North Norfolk Steam Railway between Sherringham and Holt or the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway. There are many excellent gastro-pubs in the local area, including the Duck Inn in Stanhoe itself. For those who enjoy a more informal style of eating, the local fish and chip and Chinese takeaways are very good!

Utility Room: The newly built utility room is light and airy with a tumble dryer and additional fridge. A medium sized plastic dog bed is available for use, if required. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen/bath mats/t-towels provided. Bath & hand towels can be hired at £5 pppw. The property is prepared/cleaned before each let. For 2 week bookings or more, a clean/change of linen can be arranged on a weekly basis, on request when booking.
