Newly refurbished 200 m2 (2100 sq ft) villa set in 2500 m2 plot of land with open plan ground floor consisting of living room / dining room, kitchen and bathroom. 1st floor includes 2 master bedrooms, another 2 bedrooms, bathroom and sun terrace. Villa is situated in a natural reserve and a quite rural location great location to chill out oand have a relaxing holiday. Villa has a 12m x 6.6m pool and sun deck area with 350 m2. Landscaped gardens and 1000 m2 of natural grassed area.Maximum number of guests is 8.However if rented in conjunction with our sister property reference 8400776 the maximum number of guests can be 14.Extra rates will apply for additional guests.

About Ian Martin

I live and work in Portugal and we live very near to "Villa SOL" Ref P12289, "Villa Amaro" Ref P3867 and apartment Ref P7209. These properties were all restored and are part of our family homes. The owners are both English and Portuguese and that gives us a great insight into Portugal. We are always trying to improve our properties so any comments tenants make are discussed and usually acted upon.

The Property was fully restored in 2012. The villa is set in a rural and quiet location. In the Protected landscape fossil coast of Costa da Caparica. Dispite being in a quite location its not remoteness you quickly reach Lisbon and all the aminities you need. And thats what we love about the place good location without the fuss. Thats Why we live in this area for more than 50 years, and we pretend to continue.

What makes this villa unique

As we live nearby to the property we are always on hand to help you enjoy your holiday. Most of our clients are repeat business. One year helped arrange dining, taxis and laundry service for a couple on their wedding day. We know the local area and these properties are our homes.

Notes on accommodation: Villa is fully air conditioned with suspend ceilings with built in lighting giving it a nice light and airy feel. It has Wi-fi connection troughout the villa free of charges. Landscaped gardens. The villa is a refurbishment just finished in June 2012 and everything is brand new. This villa is luxury but with a homely feel. The owners are experienced Owners Direct landlords and the villa has everything you need for a great holiday in Portugal next to 13 km of sandy dune beaches in nearby Costa da Caparica. In "Villa Sol" you have the best of both worlds, being in a quiet rural location next to the sea however just 15 min drive to Lisbon. Outside: Fully irrigated Landscaped gardens, with pine trees, olive trees, palm trees etc... and 1000 m2 of natural grassed areas fully matured. Covered terrace (30m2) with furniture, sofas and table off the living room. Barbecue area next to living room. Large pool area (350m2) with sun loungers Umbrellas and a solar powered shower. swimming pool 12m x 6.6m. Utility Room: Utility room includes washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen, robes and towels are provided and we have a weekly maid service. Pool and landscape maintenance. We also provide pool towels and sun umbrella to be used at the beach. Complementary botle of local wine provided

Wonderful villa with all the conveniences and hosts were exceptional

The Villa Sol is a wonderful villa in spectacular Caparica. The hosts Ian and Teresa were so friendly and full of knowledge on sightseeing and things to do. They are truly incredible hosts. The house had everything you needed for your stay and the store was only a 5 minute drive away. You really need a vehicle here if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in Lisbon and the surrounding area. The beaches are spectacular and unfortunately the pool was too cool to really enjoy at the end of September. We were 3 couples from Canada and we had lots of room. The bedrooms are a nice size along with your own bathroom. The outside area is very big and lots of chairs to sit in or out of the sun. We had a very enjoyable stay and the weather was fantastic. Everyone is so friendly in Portugal and the prices are incredible for food, and especially wine and beer. We highly recommend this villa for families or couples.

Great villa with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. Beaches and restaurants a 10 minute away. Owners are lovely and very knowledgeable about the area.

Outstanding stay!!!!!

What a beautiful villa!!!

Our family stayed here for one week and it had everything we could ask for. It was immaculate inside and out and the owners were on hand to answer any queries we may have had.

I would recommend you hire a car, as the nearest shop is just a little too far to walk to in the heat, but local taxi's and uber drivers are on hand and are very reasonably priced.

We will definitely be coming back.....

Stunning Villa

We have just returned from having a 2week holiday at the Beautiful villa Sol. We was a party of 6 adults and 2 children, the villa was well laid out and we had more than enough space for our party. The grounds around the villa are stunning and there is plenty of room to lounge around and relax. the villa is well equipped and has everything you need. we ate out a few nights and found the restaurants in caprica very good and very reasonably priced. the rest of our stay we just stayed in the villa and made full use of the facilities including the large swimming pool and BBQ. The Villa is very modern and very well decorated throughout. The owners Ian and Teresa were very helpful and made us feel very welcome, Absolutely a lovely couple. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have booked to go back in 2018, We will definitely be recommending villa SOL to our friends and family. A car is necessary but all amenities are within easy reach from the Villa. Caprica beach is about a 5minute drive away, Supermarket is a 2minute drive and almada Forum / Shopping centre is easily reached within 8 minutes all with plenty of parking.

It is also worth noting Ian and Teresa have another Villa next door to Vila Sol which we also viewed and found equally as nice.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay in a lovely villa

Lovely modern villa with fresh, bright decor. More than enough space for our party of 7 adults. We had beautiful weather all week, so enjoyed the private pool, outdoor eating area and living room area in the evenings. The location is great for day trips to Lisbon, Sintra and Costa da Caparica, but a rental car is definitely required. The owners Ian and Teresa made us feel very welcome upon arrival. This villa is highly recommended for families or a group of friends.

Surf classes are available in Costa da Caparica. Horse riding is available just 3 min walking distance from the villa. Supermarket "Pingo Doce" is 5 min drive, with fishmonger, butcher's, grocery and ATM machine (9.00am-9.00pm) free parking. "Almada Forum" the 3rd bigest Shoping Mall in Portugal provides everything you possibly need 10 min drive away, free parking. Hotel "Meliã Aldeia dos Capuchos", 5 min drive, has a Welness Center were you can enjoy a wonderfull massage. "Convento dos Capuchos" a franciscan convent from the 16th century has beautiful gardens and astonishing views of the Ocean, very romantic (5 min drive or 20 min walking distance). Country walks in the protected landscape overlooking the sea, ideal for morning walks.
